Rory nodded as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"Of course. I already said we were staying here to watch over Terry."
If anyone's minds had gone somewhere inappropriate, that wasn't her fault. It was their fault for being too dirty-minded.
Rory had expected Vangar might misunderstand. She'd even thought Vincent probably would too. But she had assumed Yuel understood perfectly well.

The sound of knocking echoed through the room again. Still sitting on the sofa, Rory called toward the door.

The next second, the bedroom door opened. Jasper walked in carrying a blanket.
Completely familiar with the setup by now, he calmly walked over to the sofa and spread his blanket neatly on the other side beside it.
