After leaving the meeting room, the four of us just walked ahead aimlessly, passing through the hallways of several dozen palaces. I wasn't really sure where we were headed, but I didn't dare say anything, since I was still recovering.
Though, as I glanced to the side and spotted the roughed-up Alexius, I couldn't help but inwardly chuckle. He was such a tough big shot, and yet, in the face of a Demon King and a Demon Emperor, he was nothing but an ant.
Had our roles been reversed, that would've been me licking my wounds. But then again, doesn't he also have access to Divine Energy? Why wasn't he a savior like the rest of us?
It's not like he's weak to begin with...
