Chapter 125 - Going Public [PART 3]

The host's expression shifted to one of recognition.

"The streamer? The one whose music has been all over the internet?"

"That's the one."

The host looked genuinely surprised.

"You're behind Moon Fairy?"

"She's signed to our agency," Lin Feng confirmed. "We handle her management, production, and promotion."

The host turned to the camera.

"For our viewers who may not know - Moon Fairy is a rising idol whose debut music video has accumulated millions of views in just a few weeks. Her streams regularly attract tens of thousands of concurrent viewers."

She turned back to Lin Feng.

"How did that partnership come about?"

Lin Feng kept his expression neutral.

"I recognized her potential early. She had raw talent - good voice, natural stage presence, genuine connection with her audience. She just needed the right support."

He shrugged slightly.

"So I provided it."

The chairman interjected smoothly.

"This is exactly what I saw in Lin Feng from the beginning. He doesn't just identify opportunities - he acts on them. Decisively."

He turned to face the camera.

"And I think it's worth noting - all of this happened in just a few months. The delivery business, the investment fund, the entertainment agency, the idol... this young man built all of it while still being a first-year university student."

The host shook her head in amazement.

"That's remarkable."

She turned back to Lin Feng.

"What drives you? What makes you push so hard?"

Lin Feng was quiet for a moment.

"I grew up with nothing," he said finally. "I know what it's like to have no options. No safety net."

He met the host's eyes.

"I never want to feel that way again. And if I can help others avoid that feeling too - even better."

The host smiled warmly.

"Speaking of helping others - we understand Fenghua Holdings recently made a significant donation to Zhejiang Business University."

"500,000 yuan annually," Lin Feng confirmed. "For scholarships and student resources."

"That's very generous."

Lin Feng glanced at the chairman.

"I'm just returning the favor. Chairman Wu believed in me when no one else would. The university gave me opportunities I never expected. It's only right that I give back."

The chairman nodded appreciatively.

"And that," he said, "is why I invested in him in the first place."

The host began to wrap up.

"One final question for both of you. What's next?"

The chairman spoke first.

"For the university - we're exploring more partnerships with student entrepreneurs. Lin Feng has shown what's possible. I hope others will follow his example."

The host turned to Lin Feng.

"And for Fenghua Holdings?"

Lin Feng considered the question.

"Expansion," he said. "Xunfeng Delivery is rolling out across Hangzhou. Tianji Capital is accepting new investors. And Moon Fairy..."

He paused.

"She's just getting started."

The host smiled.

"We'll be watching closely."

She turned to the camera.

"Thank you for joining us on Hangzhou Tonight. I'm Chen Liling, and these have been Chairman Wu Zhennan and Lin Feng - two people proving that sometimes, believing in someone can change everything."

She nodded.

"Good night."

The floor director called cut.

The lights dimmed slightly as the tension in the room eased.

The host stood and shook both their hands.

"Excellent segment. Thank you both."

"Thank you for having us," the chairman replied.

Lin Feng simply nodded.

As they walked out of the studio, the chairman fell into step beside him.

"That went well."

"It did."

The chairman glanced at him.

"You're quite natural on camera. Have you done this before?"

"No."

The chairman chuckled.

"Could have fooled me."

They reached the building's exit. The night air was cool.

The chairman paused.

"You know," he said, "when you first walked into my office with this proposal, I thought you were insane."

Lin Feng said nothing.

"But now..." The chairman shook his head slowly. "I'm starting to think you might actually pull this off."

Lin Feng allowed himself a faint smile.

"That's the plan, Chairman."

He turned and walked into the night.

Behind him, the chairman watched him go.

He really is hard to read...

The stream ended.

Su Yue stretched her arms above her head.

"That was... different."

Yanzi approached and handed her a bottle of water. She took it gratefully and drank.

Mengqi leaned forward from her seat.

"Was that planned?"

Su Yue lowered the bottle.

"Was what planned?"

"The game." Mengqi's eyes narrowed slightly. "It's that game Lin Feng was working on, right?"

Su Yue blinked.

"You knew about it?"

"Of course."

Su Yue pouted.

"How come you knew about it all this time and I just found out the other day?"

Mengqi didn't respond.

Well, I didn't exactly know about it.

Last week, she had grown suspicious with how Lin Feng seemed to just be printing money. So she looked into his Fenghua Holdings.

That's how she found out about Starfall Interactive.

When she saw the game page during the stream, she noticed the publisher was the same.

"Anyway," Mengqi said. "Was this planned? Did you sign a sponsorship contract?"

Su Yue shook her head.

"Why would we sign a contract? It's not like he asked me to play it."

She tilted her head innocently.

"I just wanted to play it because it was the only game I knew."

Mengqi facepalmed.

Girl, how can you be so…

At that moment, the doorbell rang.

Yanzi moved to get it.

A few moments later, the four of them sat together.

Lin Feng was next to Su Yue on one side. Mengqi and Yanzi sat opposite them.

Mengqi was giving Lin Feng quite the look.

Lin Feng could only smile nervously.

He somewhat understood what was going on. Mengqi was quite sharp.

Su Yue crossed her arms.

"What were you doing? You didn't come watch me stream."

Lin Feng smiled mischievously.

"You'll find out soon."

She pouted.

"Not fair."

He leaned back.

"So... how did the stream go?"

Mengqi looked away, not meeting his gaze.

Su Yue crossed her arms tighter.

"You'll find out."

Lin Feng looked between them.

"Come on, guys. Really?"

Neither spoke.

He sighed.

"Alright, fine. I'll tell you where I was."

Su Yue instantly returned to her usual cheery self.

"Tell me! Tell me"

Mengqi remained looking away, but you could tell she was paying attention.

Yanzi was just her usual self throughout.
