Ashrik straightened, dusting his hands. As another matter had taken priority, he let the last thread of speculation about Genesis' involvement coil back into his mind.
"Only Isaac will follow me out. You guys wait here," he said, looking at the others in one calm sweep of his gaze. "Time to leave East Sentinel. I'll fly directly to the northeast next."
"Alright."
Felix, Hazel, and Regina nodded, not objecting at all. Lucille was simply quiet as she understood this had been Ashrik's method. It was clean and efficient, as well as minimizing potential risks.
The air rippled as Ashrik and Isaac vanished from the yard. They returned to the narrow alley. The stuffy air of East Sentinel rushed back around them.
Isaac concealed both Ashrik and himself, blending into the background and shadows. No one would ever guess that they were there, standing between the crates and scrap metals.
"Let's go." Ashrik glanced at his comrade, ready to summon the wind to lift them.
