As Xasxquar slowly woke up, the moment he opened his eyes, he was flashbanged. Then he remembered that the day before, when he was sleeping, he had been teleported to a bright room just before he collapsed.
Xasxquar opened his eyes; people surrounded him. Xasxquar recognized this room; this was the room he took the oath of Erd and got his powers, but now it wasn't just him and Shakru Erd; it was a bunch of people, aliens, and a few giants, like Xasxquar; most of them were confused. Except for a few, who seemed annoyed, then suddenly Shakru Erd stood up and said, "Silence, we request your patience, as of today, we welcome you, a new mantle of the Erd, his name, Xasxquar." A round of applause fired, while Shakru Erd continued, "Unlike the previous attempt at galaxy 11145111244423b, this time, the mantle has been successfully taken by Xasxquar. Now I request Xasxquar to come on and receive his medallion."
As Xasxquar slowly walked up to the stage, he suddenly tripped and fell on the stairs. Turns out one of the more powerful mantles used a teleportation spell and made him trip. Xasxquar was very embarrassed, quickly took the medallion, and chucked it in his pocket, hiding his face. And then all of a sudden, he passed out and woke up in his cavern, where Swana was waiting for him to wake up. When Xasxquar woke up once again, he checked his pocket to be surprised that the medallion was still there. Xasxquar told Swana everything that happened in that bright room he was just in, but Swana unsurprisingly didn't believe Xasxquar and said that he needed some more sleep. Xasxquar, in retaliation, said, "Then try using one of my powerful spells, I bet you can't even say it right."
Swana took up the challenge and said, "Very well then, first you use the spell, and next I'll show you how to do it."
When Xasxquar used the spell on the dummy, it was blown to bits. Swana, shocked at the result, tried the same spell, but it didn't even work. Then Xasxquar said, "Since you don't possess the mantle of Erd, you can't use the spell I used, so now do you believe me?"
Swana, with disbelief, said, "How are you the mantle, you're too stupid for such responsibilities?"
Xasxquar replied, "What do you even mean by that?"
Swana told Xasxquar, "You're Dumb."
Xasxquar immediately felt a buzzing in his pocket. His pocket felt heavy, and when he checked, he saw his medallion buzzing loudly and moving around. When Xasxquar inspected it further, he saw two buttons, and when he clicked the bigger button, he was teleported to another bright room, slightly different and slightly less colorful, then suddenly Sharkru Erd appeared out of nowhere and said, "This will be your new room in the Court of Erds, don't worry, the name is temporary, and whenever you press this button you will be teleported here, and it is handy to you since your home is kind of insecure and, for a lack of better words, deadly, so you can crash here whenever you want, Xasxquar tried asking Shakru Erd something but he was teleported back to the cavern. Xasxquar checked the time; there was half an hour left before he had to attend his lectures. Just as everything was going fine, he suddenly had a pain in his gut. Swana screamed and kept asking Xasxquar if he was fine or not, then went to get medical help. Meanwhile, Xasxquar seized the opportunity to cast a stunning spell on the attacker and teleported to his room, on the Court of Erds. After looking down, he realized that time had stopped. Xasxquar wasn't physically in his room, just spiritually, with his soul, while his body was down there, stopped in action and time. Then, suddenly, he recognized the attacker, it was Master Junghybt, that old hag Xasxquar thought, then once again he saw Shakru Erd, asking Xasxquar why he was here sitting and apntting, Xasxquar replied, "There, look down there, Junghybt is trying to kill me again. I used a stun spell on him and left to here, but now he could kill me, and the galaxy will fall apart in his hands. Help me, I need to win this battle."
Shakru Erd slowly whispered in Xasxquar's ear, a spell, a very powerful spell. Xasxquar had no other choice but to go down there and win the battle. He could stay here, but any time he went down there, he would have to suffer the excruciating pain, so Xasxquar picked up the courage and went down there.
Time resumed. Xasquar felt an Excruciating pain in his stomach. The students were evacuated at the sight of the gory, while Sheila screamed, "Pass my exam before you die," and left. When Xasquar turned around to see Junghybt still struggling to get rid of the stun spell, Xasquar used an enhanced Stun spell with the power of Erd. "Ictus fulmini ex Erd," and Junghybt passed out. Xasxquar looked at him and called him weak, then, suddenly, when he turned back, his stomach hurt. Xasxquar quickly removed the spear with his hands, spraying some blood on the floor. Xasxquar felt an excruciating pain for some moments, then a thousand visions of him being held captive and being tortured zoomed past him; at that moment, he felt Scribe Xasxquar's pain, it was much more horrifying than he imagined, and then back to the real world, he saw Junghybt having a fit, then suddenly disintegrating to dust, that was not the real Junghybt it was a clone, a mere, poorly made clone, then Xasxquar's healing clicked in, his wound started glowing and started healing very quickly, it was a bright blue glow, and soon his wound recovered, for Xasxquar the healing process felt soothing and relaxing, as the wound was very deep it took some time for it to fully heal and gave Xasxquar around fifteen minutes of peace, then Xasxquar went to Shakru Erd, clicking the medallion, Shakru Erd replied "I was waiting for you to finish the battle with that clone, you know you could have healed faster?"
Xasxquar replied, "Yes, I felt it, but it was too peaceful."
Shakru Erd said, "Beware of such peace, it will become poison sooner or later."
Xasxquar felt an impact from those words and decided to use such powers limitedly, but now he had to go back and make up a cover story to hide the fact that he had been stabbed through his stomach. When he got back, stuff continued exactly where he left off. Swana came back running with iodine and antiseptic, just to realize it was useless. Sheila and her friends came back and were surprised. Then the security guard chased Sheila and his friends, just to be as shocked as they were, then slowly the Jèrmolog walked in, asking with his hands over his eyes, "Is everything ok?" Then all the students and the faculty brought the leftover children in, then Sheila touched Xasxquar's stomach and asked, "How are you still alive, Professor Arrack?"
Xasxquar replied, "I don't understand why your concern was me passing you rather than running away at the gruesome sight of blood? And now you're definitely failing. In addition to that, I paid someone to cast a clone of me since the interviewer incident. "
Sheila asked, but to no avail. "What interviewer incident?"
Xasxquar simply left, without answering anybody, but all of them, most of them were relieved that the Xasxquar that was killed was a clone; meanwhile, only Xasxquar, Swana, and Shakru Erd knew the truth. After that incident, with the Junghybt clone, Xasxquar needed better defences than ever, so back to the cavern he went, while Swana worrily kept asking him if he was ok, he just said "I'm fine" and brushed her off, but Swana was still in disbelief of what happened, and Xasxquar wanted to have some peace, he wanted to stab himself just for the peace of the healing, but he realized it wasn't what he needed, what he needed are answers, so he went back to the Court of Erds, and asked some other mantles of Erd the same question, but all of them said they didnt know anything about it, which was obvious at hindsight, due to them being from completely different galaxies, Xasxquar realized that if a single clone of Junghybt caused him such trouble, Junghybt could create multiple clones, so he went back to his cavern and continued translating the thirteenth page, after so much practice with translating the pages, he could read the dialect directly without the use of translation book, this automatically gave Xasxquar enough motivation to translate the thirteenth completely, but Xasxquar did use the translation whenever it got too hard when translating thirteenth page, he translating the page in less than fifteen minutes, while previously it took him almost a full day, so with nothing else to do, he moved on to the fourteenth page, also translating it easily, both the pages, seemed to give more and more information about the queen, it said that Scribe Xasxquar was favored by the queen and even when playing with other children, the queen would seclude him, and whenever he did something wrong did not allow him to get hurt, apparently she said that Scribe Xasxquar had a greater role in the galaxy, a greater responsibility, and therefore for her crude methods of torturing other children to not even touch Xasxquar, she was banished. But there was more to this story while Xasxquar wanted the translate the fifteenth page his phone rang, buzzing, he looked at his phone to look who was calling, it was a random number, so he didn't attend it, because random numbers are most likely scammers, or so he thought, it was actually Swana wanting to warn him for an attacker clone, more powerful than before.
So when Xasxquar didn't attend the call, Swana hopped on his hover-ship and drove it straight to the college, avoiding all the awkward questions about the previous incident. When she went inside the cavern, Xasxquar was taken aback by her worried face. Xasxquar asked, "Why the long face? There are half an hour left, then back home."
Swana replies, "Your dumb face is being chased by that Junghybt clone, now it's even more powerful."
Xasxquar, who was not completely surprised, recited a spell, the same spell Shakru Erd told him in his room, "Nunc cosmi gladium voco, Erd vi incantatum." from that spell, Xasxquar fetched one of the most powerful swords, with that any Junghybt clone would be no match for him, and as Swana said a Junghybt clone did come but what Swana didn't say was there were many Junghybt clone, so Xasxquar thought quickly and gave the sword to Swana telling her to repeatedly hit Xasxquar, Swana, though she felt very weird at first, she did listen to him.
Xasxquar quickly shouted, while focusing his mind on each one of the clones, and Xasxquar recited the spell that could fininsh off all the clones, "Clypeus Erd" as Swana kept bashing the shield, all the power in the sword amplified and deflected onto the clones and immeditely vaporized them, but one of them slowly vanished, saying, "Were are just one of many, and day by day, we grow stronger, and one day, when it comes, he will have all your powers, and he will rule the galaxy"
After that small speech from the clone, the sword Xasxquar summoned flew back to him without command, and alll Xasxquar could say was, "You, will never be strong enough to defeat me, I will soon end your masters miserable tyranny, and set his prisoners free, anf the next time you meet him, tell him I know what the whistling apparatus is for…"
After saying that Xasxquar tried to vaporize the clone, slashing the sword with such power his cavern's wall broke a little, as the decapitated head was vanishing, the clone used the last bits of his powers and stabbed Xasxquar right beside his chest, stabbing his shoulder, while Xasxquar, bent down so that the knife would fall out, and as soon as the knife fell out, it also vanished, Xasxquar strained his shoulder, healing his shoulder faster than before, while the blue glow of the wound healing and the sword matched, Xasxquar felt something weird in the wound, as he looked to check he saw an small device, that looked like a tracker, Xasxquar quickly pressed his finger against the tracker and removed it, while Swana saw him struggling to to bear the pain, and went towards him and held his hand, telling Xasxquar that it's fine and it won't hurt much longer, while Xasxquar removed and fried the tracker, Xasxquar quickly realized that, if there is a tracker in his shouder, there must be one in his stomach from the previous stab, so he went to his room in the Court of Erds asked Shakru Erd to remove the tracker, Shakru Erd agreed, but on the condition that he would have to bear all the pain. Xasxquar, fearing for the safety of Swana, agreed to this mundane condition, so both Xasxquar and Shakru Erd travelled back to his cavern.
While Shakru Erd prepared for the surgery, Xasxquar told Swana to get out of the cavern for a while, meanwhile Shakru Erd located the tracker and sliced Xasxquar stomach open, Xasxquar screaming in absolute agony and pain, kept asking Shakru Erd to stop, but it had to be done, for a moment Xasxquar felt like he was in another world, having the same visions again, but this he saw his mother and Junghybt discussing something, then suddenly whooshed back to the real world, blood lay all over floor, while his healing glow helped him, he needed a few days to psychologically recover, so he took a few days off college and went for a trip, somewhere only greenery existed, with peace and relaxing gusts of wind. But still lies the threat of Junghybt.
All he could do now was sleep, while his stomach pained from the surgery, he slept. With nothing to bother him for a while, all he did next was anticipate the next attack and be ready; whether it be victory or defeat, he would have to face it
