Time slowed, Xasxquar was back to the real world, the powerful blast Junghybt shot slowed as it slowly approached Xasquar looked at his surroundings looking for something to deflect it, he noticed a barrier behind, all around him as the purple ray came closer Xasxqaur moved his left arm, the ray made the barrier collapse as it slowly opened Xasxquar recited the teleportation spell, teleporting back to his office, fortunately with his left arm still intact.
Xasxquar was still very confused about the speech that Shakru Erd gave him and that strange oath he recited. Xasxquar felt dumb, because even though he had enough time to ask Shakru Erd questions to get to know what on Xasxfqe he was doing, but no, he was too jazzed up from the fight with Junghybt, then all of a sudden, Swana came into the staff room, and asked Xasxquar, "Hey, I thought you took a leave today, you know, because you're being hunted by that reporter." Xasxquar immediately replied, "Junghybt is hunting me, he wants my soul and whatever, and you are not safe, I need to translate the twelfth page, now!'', Swana and Xasxquar quickly went to the library, and Swana asked Xasxquar, "Tell me again why we're translating a book when you're being hunted?" Xasxquar, panting, replied, "Shakru Erd".
Xasxquar ran to a place where no one would even bother to look at, a place so secret not even the construction worker who built the university knew about it, so Xasxquar and Swana decided to stay there, translating the page, in the twelfth page, it described all the chants and spells used to torture Scribe Xasxquar, though completely non lethal on its own, when multiple or as said in the book, fourteen, sometimes when the wardens felt sadistic twenty people use it on one person it could become lethal, and also it was said in the same page that Scribe Xasxquar, used an spell strong enough to break the prison walls, but at his weakened mental and physical state, he couldn't perform it well and only made a small chip in the wall, but Xasxquar thought that this was hinting at Scribe Xasxquar breaking out of prison with no help, but it didn't seem plausible right now, Xasxquar tried cram all those spells in his head but unlike the other spells he learnt, he could remember these spells with ease reading them one time, and being able to perform them spectacularly, so xasxquar recited the spell, strong enough to break the prison walls, "perdere impedimenta" and an enormus cavern was made without a speck of dust and enchanted an object to be an source of light Xasxquar recited "lychnus" enchanting the object to be a permanent light source unless the spell was repeated on it by the same person, or if the object was destroyed and now the final thing left was to cloak the entrance to the cavern because now that it had an light source, one could easily notice it.
Xasxquar started translating the thirteenth page. He also noticed he was doing it much, much faster. He realized that the oath he took might have something to do with it, but that wasn't his main concern; the more pages he translates, the better his defences and offences are, better his chances of not dying in the next battle with Junghybt. Xasxquar still very much surprised by his improved comprehension skills and his enhanced memory decided to do the tunneling spell again, but his time he shouted with all his might, "PERDERE IMPEDIMENTA" a humongous room was made, and since it was so big, he also made a few light sources to illuminate the room, with that, all that Xasxquar had left is to keep a cloaking spell on the entrance, which was a long spell, possibly being due to spell needing a password for higher standards of protection, "Hac vi, hoc verbo Xasxquar specus vestibulo vestio.", and finally the room was on indistinguishable from its surroundings, but he realized that the spell was in his mind, he didn't read it anywhere, it just popped out of his mind, and only people who know the password, and people who know where to look can enter the cavern, and then Xasxquar started again, translating the pages, then suddenly he felt someone touch his shoulder, it wasn't Swana.
It was someone else, someone with big hands, Xasxquar quickly turned around just to see Shakru Erd again, he looked at Swana, asking her if she could see anyone, but she didn't reply, she didn't even move or notice then with a stern look Shakru Erd said, "No, one except you can see me, you fool, and what are you doing here while you're being hunted, you were supposed to fight back, instead of escaping through a hole in the barrier", Xasxquar replied, "What was I supposed to do stand there and get get my arm blasted into oblivion?"
Shakru Erd replied, "I am a god, you idiot, and I gave you powers, powers as strong as mine, and you ran away? Even if you got your hand blasted, it wouldn't matter; you would regenerate it in a matter of seconds, and this fight is not over, not even close to being over. The other Xasxquar, your past twin, didn't accept these powers and kept screaming about voices in his head for days, until I left him alone, realizing that he is a lost cause, but you, you're different, you realized that with these powers, now you have to control this galaxy."
Xasxquar replied with shock, "I HAVE TO CONTROL THE WHAT???"
Sharkru Erd replied, "Yes, you will now have to control the galaxy, but for now, try controlling your powers, and more importantly, your anger management issues; you seem to have a lot of them."
Xasxquar then asked, "What if I quit?"
Shakru Erd replied, "Then your left arm will be blown to bits, and you will die of bleeding too much, you want that?"
Xasxquar replied disappointingly, "No… but, once again, I don't know how to use any of my powers."
Then Shakru Erd said, "As for that, you'll have to figure it out by yourself."
Then all of a sudden Shakru Erd disappeared, and Swana asked Xasxquar, "Whoa! How did you stand up so fast? You were sitting there and translating, and now you're here." It was at this moment that Xasxquar realized his conversation with Shakru Erd didn't happen in the fourth dimension; Shakru Erd had frozen time. Xasxquar thought, could he do this too? If yes, then he would be untouchable, and any foe would lose to him Xasxquar immediately, and it wouldn't even be a challenge ruling the galaxy with such power, but still, he had to learn how to control his powers, and now that Master Junghybt is a crackpot seeking immortality, he had no one left, as Shakru Erd said, he had to do this all by himself, and now his own house could be a trap set up by Junghybt or maybe even his on mother, so all he had left was his cavern, the dialect and his translation book.
So he did what any sane person would do: he sat down and started translating the pages, learning new spells now and then. He also realized that reading the spell once was enough to learn its pronunciation, its use, and its effectiveness. Xasxquar couldn't discuss any of this to Swana either, so with a new spell he learnt, he summoned a dummy to test his spells on, and while translating his pages, he read another mention of the queen, now clearly stating her name as Zephtak, and her disloyalty to the king. At this moment, it struck Xasxquar that Shakru Erd had said that Scribe Xasxquar was the past twin of Xasxquar, and both of them heard voices in their head. At their most agonizing moment, for Scribe Xasxquar, it was being tortured by the prison wardens, and for Xasxquar, it was his left arm blowing up, but one accepted the power and the other didn't. This meant that Xasxquar would have or will have to experience circumstances similar to the ones Scribe Xasxquar had, which would also mean that Xasxquar might also get captured by someone, or not. Now he has learnt a new spell, a spell to cast a shield, so he told Swana to use a minor attack spell so he could test the shield spell, and Swana did, but she used a stronger spell. Xasxquar slowly whispered, "Clypeus Erd." and the spell immediately deflected to a dummy, and in the dialect, it was said that when two wardens used an attack spell as a prank on one of the wardens, the other would use the shield spell, but a slightly different version. The attack spell was deflected onto a different person, whom he had a grudge against, but did almost nothing. But when Scribe Xasxquar used this exact spell of Erd, the attack spell was deflected to the most hated warden with an amplified charge, so from this, Xasxquar knew that the shield spell of Erd deflects the attack spell to the person in mind.
So Xasxquar asked Swana to use the most powerful attack spell she knew, and she did without any hesitation, but this time, while reciting the shield spell, Xasxquar focused his mind on the dummy, and when the attack spell deflected, it went straight to the dummy and blasted it into oblivion. With that, Xasxquar thought he was ready for Junghybt, but "not yet," Shakru Erd reminded, searching for Shakru Erd.
Xasxquar started moving around frantically, but then Shakru Erd replied, "Now, I'm very busy, I'm taking care of a galactical war, so I decided to tell you through telepathy, didn't realize I had to specifically tell you, because I didn't know you were dumb." So from that encounter, Xasxquar went back to reading and translating the dialect, after all that is all he could do now, then, suddenly a group of student rushed into the room beside Xasxquar and Swana, Xasxquar immediately turned off all the light in the room, and recited the tunneling spell to make enough room for Xasxquar and Swana so cram in case of an sudden bombardment from the students, but when the Students did try to enter the room they couldn't one of them even tried to kick the entrance open, but all that came was a small glimmer of light, Xasxquar quickly realized that, the glimmer of light he saw was the cloaking spell cracking a little, so he rushed near the entrance a recited a basic enhancement spell, used to repair or strengthen any spells, Xasxquar slowly moved closer to the entrance and focused on the small chip, and recited "Augmenta" the crack immediately dissolved, the students then tried to kick the door open, so all four of them counted down three and kicked the entrance hard, their was a bright light, so Xasxquar once again recited the spell, but a different version, a version of Erd "Auge cum potentia Erd" then suddenly all the cracks and crevices disappeared, and the entrance was now thicker, the students murmured something like "college reconstructions" and left.
Xasxquar was extremely relieved, but it was already time to go. Swana told Xasxquar that she could stay for him if he wanted, but Xasxquar refused. Xasxquar simply summoned another dummy and turned him into a bed to sleep. Xasxquar slept. He felt betrayed, he felt hollow, but all he could do now was sleep and prepare for the upcoming hurdles. While closing his eyes, he saw someone he couldn't recognize, and he was too tired to open his eyes again. He wanted to, but his body was drained of all the energy he had left. He hopelessly tried to open his eyes, only to be in a bright room, then he collapsed, while only his dreams could interpret where he was …
