-Sebastian Lightwood:

I could feel the weight of him even before he spoke—heat radiating off him in waves, eyes locked on me with an intensity that made my knees almost buckle. He didn't hesitate. He didn't falter. He just stood, and the air seemed to tighten around us. His gaze pierced straight through me, sharp and unyielding, like he was sizing me up, reading me completely.

"Start then," he said, voice low but commanding. "Take my pants off."

I froze for a fraction of a second, but only a fraction, because never in my twenty-one years of living had someone ever dared to order me around. It felt good. I feel like I could just turn my brain off and do just what he tells me without thinking about it.
