Chapter 74 - Chapter 72: The Fear of Truth

Sakura and Koharu were sitting inside Koharu's office, waiting for OG to arrive. The atmosphere felt strangely tense to Sakura, even though Koharu looked calm beside her. Sakura kept rubbing her fingers together nervously while Koharu occasionally glanced at her, reassuring her silently.

Soon, the door opened and the rest of OG entered the office.

Koharu stood up from her chair and spoke first.

"As you all know… things were never good between us from the start," she said calmly. "I messed up your lives, created misunderstandings, and hurt all of you in many ways."

The room stayed silent.

"But time has changed," Koharu continued, looking toward Sakura softly. "And now… I really love Sakura. I want to cherish her forever."

Before Sakura could even say anything—

Aiko suddenly stood up from her seat and grabbed Koharu by the collar.

"After all those problems, you still have the guts to think about Sakura?" Aiko shouted angrily. "You ruined our lives once, created misunderstandings between us, and now you're starting again?"

Koharu tried to explain, but Aiko's eyes moved toward Sakura instead.

"And you!" she snapped. "I thought you would keep your words. You said you would never love someone like Koharu… but you lied too?"

The other members slowly started cornering Sakura with confused and hurt expressions while Koharu kept trying to calm the situation.

The room became suffocating.

Voices overlapping.

Disappointment.

Anger.

Fear.

Everything crashing together—

---

"Huh—!"

Sakura suddenly woke up with a jerk.

Her breathing was uneven for a second.

She looked around quickly.

They were inside the car.

Koharu was beside her, looking concerned.

"…Are you okay?" Koharu asked softly.

Sakura blinked.

It was just a daydream.

Or maybe—

a nightmare.

---

"What happened?" Koharu asked again.

Sakura stayed quiet for a moment before lowering her eyes.

"…I don't think this is the right time to tell them," she admitted softly. "We're promoting the album right now… everyone is already busy."

Koharu looked at her for a few seconds, then nodded gently.

"As you say, Sakura," she said calmly. "But whenever you want to tell them… I'll always be with you."

Sakura looked at her and smiled faintly.

The car stopped in front of the company building.

Both of them stepped out—

and quietly parted ways toward their separate schedules.
