In the Beast World, where the mortality rate was extremely high, Witch Doctors could cure illnesses and save lives. These life-saving Witch Doctors were practically gods in the eyes of the beastmen, their status and popularity far exceeding even that of the City Lord who governed the region.
In the center of the city stood two towering structures. Their spire-like architecture pierced the sky like the fangs of a Giant Beast. Because of the great fire a few days prior, the Witch Doctor Castle was now overflowing with patients.
The castle was flooded with a large number of burned beastmen. All sorts of clamorous noises rose and fell, creating a chaotic mess.
A young man finished brewing a medicinal soup and distributed it to the beastmen squatting in a corner. But then he saw their gazes all turn in unison toward the entrance, followed by several horrified gasps.
