The group stepped through the broken gate into a darker stretch of the Abyssal Void Realm. The air here felt heavier, older, and the floating platforms were larger but more broken. Strange black stone formations rose at odd angles, and the residual cold energy from the defeated shadow lord still clung to everything.
Wei Chen led them forward at a steady pace. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin stayed near the front. Huo Yan walked with Lan Qing and Mei Yun, the three of them still carrying the faint heat and chill of their combined techniques. Lin Xue and Su Mei remained close to Wei Chen's sides. The disciples spread out in a loose protective shape without needing to be told.
They had not gone far when the first new threat appeared. Several large shadow remnants pulled themselves together from the lingering mist, denser and more aggressive than the ones before the gate. These ones moved with clearer purpose.
"Keep it controlled," Wei Chen said. "Don't waste energy. Disciples, support from the sides. Huo Yan, use the mix only when it counts."
The fight was shorter than the battle with the shadow lord but still sharp. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin cut through the first two remnants with clean, efficient movements. The ice-flame combination from Huo Yan and the ice queens forced another pair back long enough for the main disciples to finish them. Wei Chen only stepped in once, ending a remnant that tried to slip past the outer line with a precise burst of Yang energy.
When the last of them dissolved, the group took a short rest on a more stable platform. The tension of the deeper area still pressed against them, but for a moment the fighting stopped.
Wei Chen moved among the queens without rush. He stopped beside Tigress Yu first, checked the thin frost mark still fading on her arm, then slid his hand between her legs and rubbed her slowly while speaking in a low voice.
"You're still carrying some of that cold," he said. "Your body is handling it."
She gave a short sound of acknowledgment and leaned into the touch for a few seconds before he moved on.
He found Zhao Yin a short distance away. Without many words he guided her down, pushed into her mouth, and moved with steady control while the others recovered nearby. She took him quietly, eyes half-closed, until he pulled back and let her stand again. A faint flush remained on her cheeks as she returned to checking her shadows.
Further along the platform, Wei Chen sat with Lan Qing for a moment. He parted her legs and licked her with focused pressure until her breathing changed and she came with a soft, controlled sound. He wiped his mouth, rested a hand briefly on her thigh, and left her to recover.
Mei Yun received attention while she was adjusting her robes. He stood behind her, cupped her breasts, and moved his thumbs slowly across her nipples as he spoke.
"Your control with the mix is getting better. Keep it that way."
She nodded, a light color rising in her face, and continued preparing.
The group moved deeper after the short rest. The black stone formations grew denser, and the residual energy in the air began to shift. The inheritance crystal in Wei Chen's hand pulsed more strongly, pointing them toward a large broken structure ahead that looked like the remains of an old sealed hall.
As they approached, another wave of shadow energy stirred. This time the remnants were fewer but stronger, and they carried traces of the same ancient pressure the shadow lord had held. The fight that followed was more careful. The disciples worked in tighter pairs. Huo Yan timed her flames with the ice from Lan Qing and Mei Yun to create sharper openings. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin kept the stronger remnants from locking onto any single target for long.
Wei Chen intervened twice — once to protect an outer disciple who had been forced out of position, and once to crack the core of a remnant that had grown too dense. The rest of the work was left to the group.
After the last remnant fell, they reached the broken sealed hall. Inside, a floating crystal of deep red light hovered above a cracked altar. The energy coming from it was clearly tied to the Yang Dragon bloodline.
Wei Chen approached it carefully. When he absorbed the energy, a wave of new knowledge settled into him — clearer information about the ancient enemy clan's methods, a stronger understanding of how the seals had been made, and a direct pull toward the next major fragment deeper still.
The group rested again inside the relative shelter of the broken hall. Wei Chen sat with several of the queens. He made Huo Yan take him into her mouth while he slowly fingered Su Mei beside them. Huo Yan's mouth was hot and focused. Su Mei came quietly against his hand a short time later. Afterward he turned to Lin Xue, laid her back against a smoother section of stone, and licked her until her thighs tensed and she came with a soft breath.
The quieter moments that followed felt more natural. Tigress Yu and Huo Yan exchanged a few low comments about the fights so far. Lan Qing and Mei Yun checked on two outer disciples who had taken light hits. Lin Xue and Su Mei stayed near Wei Chen, their presence calm.
The inheritance crystal pulsed again. At the same time, Wei Chen felt the faint golden pressure of the rival's aura grow clearer in the distance. The rival was moving deeper into the realm as well.
Wei Chen stood and looked toward the path that led further into the sealed area.
"The next fragment is still ahead," he said. "But we are not the only ones looking for it. Stay close and stay ready."
The group formed up once more and continued deeper into the darkness beyond the broken hall, the residual cold of the ancient seals mixing with the distant golden pressure of the approaching rival.
