Chapter 119 - Chapter 119 Plans from All Sides

A giant dragon spread its wings, blocking out the sky and the sun. In just a second, the dragon transformed into a tall, beautiful night elf and landed gracefully.

She nodded slightly at Arthas and said, "Looking for me?" She spoke in the dragon language because Arthas could understand their tongue. Of course, she could have used the common tongue, but that felt a bit awkward, as she was not very familiar with it. Most dragons rarely paid attention to humans; only a small portion of them did.

"I need you to help me with something; you don't have to take action, just follow me," Arthas said with a smile, also sharing his plan.

"Oh? Using gnolls? Do these dirty creatures actually yield results?" Emeriss, with violet skin radiating a unique natural aura, had blended with nature after spending so long in the Emerald Dream. Her exposed soft skin bore natural rose patterns, making her incredibly seductive.

"Just trust me," Arthas replied with firmness in his tone, unwilling to explain further. The secret regarding the system was something he kept to himself. No one would believe him, and revealing it could lead to others' greed and envy. Unless he could guarantee they wouldn't betray him, he would never reveal it, even to a future wife.

"Alright, the Green Dragonflight cannot act casually. But Arthas, you might just be worth my personal effort." Emeriss said, her eyes still half-closed, seemingly typical of green dragons, who appeared perpetually sleepy.

"Okay, let's try to continue the healing tonight," Arthas said, feeling a bit excited; could this heightened feeling be a result of intimacy? It seemed quite beautiful.

"Sure." Emeriss's long ears turned slightly red; elves had both long and pointy ears, which were also sensitive areas. A few touches could make them go soft all over, or they might become furious. Elven ears and a wife's rear were sacred entities not to be trifled with.

Nearby, the Gnoll Ogg was already stunned, his claws in his mouth, still shocked by the sight. What on earth was this? He didn't know what a dragon was, but the aura and pressure Emeriss exuded frightened him more than any chieftain. The group continued on, and the guards looked at Arthas with a hint of awe and admiration.

The prince could actually summon a dragon to assist him? How remarkable was that! Last night, the intel had already landed in the hands of every king and clan leader. The prince of Lordaeron was shining brightly, an important detail that needed everyone's attention. Moreover, the prince showed no interest in this land; instead, he was curious about the wild, primitive continent just across the sea.

After reading the briefing, Lord Admiral Daelin fell into silence, stroking his graying beard as he handed the intel to his eldest son, Drake. "What do you think?"

Drake took only a glance, then became furious. He initially wanted to throw the intel away, but after seeing his father's expression, he persevered and finished reading it. His forehead muscles tensed with anger, his voice gritted, "Isn't Arthas being too much? Is my sister not pretty enough? Does he want multiple wives?"

The intel mentioned that Arthas was getting close to the daughter of the lord of Gilneas, Lorna, alongside four stunning beauties, who were also dragons. There were doubts that he possessed the ability for longevity and could communicate with Naga. Most crucially, he might already have a spouse; how could a prince who had a spouse seek marriage with other lords?

Daelin looked at his son and shook his head, "That's not the main point."

Drake's anger stemmed from the fact that his beloved sister was considering marrying such a man, a feeling of misplaced trust. "Arthas has grown stronger and cleverer. But this is still good for us; he has no conflicting interests with the Proudmore family."

"Let Jaina go to Lordaeron and accompany Arthas," Daelin simply commanded before leaving. No one knew what he was thinking—whether he was betting on Arthas or was angry about the future of his son-in-law. Although he certainly felt some displeasure, he also admired Arthas for not trying to hide. He wasn't as cunning and manipulative as his father, Terenas.

In his eyes, Arthas's methods seemed relatively childish and ridiculous. But so what? This man was destined to become a remarkable figure, winning the favor of dragons as a human; his future was limitless! Drake pondered over his father's words, then slammed his hand on the table and began writing using a magical letter.

In the kingdom of Alterac, King Aiden and his close friend, the head of the Barov family, Alexei, were also looking at the reports sent by scouts. After reading, their expressions were constantly changing.

"What do you think, Alexi?"

"If that's the case, then Lordaeron will surely become unstoppable in the future," Alexi sighed. If, after this battle, Arthas established considerable prestige, to what extent would Lordaeron expand?

"Should we take care of him?" Weldon made a gesture across his throat; the implication was clear. Not everyone was ready to fawn over the prince of Lordaeron, and the king certainly wasn't, even considering taking lethal action!

"No, if we look at the intel, Arthas indeed has links to dragons and isn't fixated on expansion. Why not help him out and send him away? Hehe, once he leaves here, even if he has long arms, he can't reach us." Alexei laughed heartily, but he had another thought in mind: his daughter, Jandice, was actually a bit older than Arthas, at fifteen, and almost ready for marriage!

Daughters in noble families are often used for alliances, and childhood affection wouldn't affect their future fate. Alexei was shrewd and recognized the necessity of betting on both sides.

Behind the Alterac Mountains lay Lordaeron, and with the orc's military presence directly in front of Alterac, his territory was quite perilous. Jandice was one of the three beauties of the Magic Academy; it was somewhat unfortunate that she transformed from a delicate flower into a death knight.

If her father could arrange her marriage to Arthas, perhaps that would be a form of redemption for her! Each king felt a complex emotion while looking at the briefings; for humanity, Arthas's emergence was beneficial.

However, for the other kings, it was not necessarily such a good thing, as comparisons would inevitably set the other princes below Arthas, making them resent him even more.
