Saturday came by so fast, and before Jett knew it, he found himself parking his car at the front of his family home.
His father had called him over, saying he had things they had to discuss. Jett really didn't give a fuck, but he suspected Alex has something to do with it, so he decided to come over and get it over with.
When he walked into the living room, he met his father, sat on the sofa in the living room, glasses low on his nose, reading from his tablet.
Alex was also standing at the side, looking at Jett with expression that screamed trouble. Layla was nowhere in sight.
No one greeted anyone.
"What's this about?" Jett asked finally, breaking the silence.
Their father didn't look up immediately. "You said you had something important to say, Alex."
"I do."
Jett remained near the doorway, arms folded and jaw clenched tight. He already knew, that whatever this was, it wasn't going to be small.
Their father finally looked up. "Well?"
