Jett didn't know what came over him, all he knew at the moment was that he was drowning in Jamie, everything about him was messing with his head.
He barely registered the sound he made when he finally gave in.

Jamie made a sound low in his throat that alone nearly shattered Jett's resolve.
For a second, just a second, the world narrowed to heat and just the rapid touching of their lips, the way Jamie clutched at his shoulders like he might slip away if he let go. His lips were warm, so warm, and there was no rhythm to the kiss, no balance. Jamie kissed like he was starving, like he didn't know where he ended and Jett began.
That was what snapped Jett out of it.
