At the start of the fight with Sasori, he blocked a descending strike aimed at his puppet; he quickly stopped it with his iron scorpion tail.

Although he managed to halt the blow, the sound of metal screeching under the pressure of Jinin's hammer filled the air.

Backing away from the attacker, Sasori watched from inside Hiruko, noting how difficult this battle would be.

"Did you think you would leave here alive, you Sand rat?" Jinin said, pulling his axe back and gripping his hammer with even more strength.

Inside Hiruko, Sasori prepared to fight, having moved far enough away so that no one could interrupt. The silence of this part of the forest was broken only by the rattling of the puppet's joints.

"I wasn't running; I was only moving away from the battlefield of the other two," Sasori said in his raspy voice, filtered through Hiruko's wooden mask.

"Interesting idea. I don't like my fights being interrupted either. But first, before you die, I want you to know who killed you: I am Jinin Akebino," Jinin said, launching another attack at Sasori.

With a swift movement of Hiruko, Sasori lashed out his tail at high speed, but it was stopped by the axe of the Kabutowari.

Jinin smirked, showing his shark-like teeth, With a sharp twist of his wrist, he used the hammer to strike the back of the axe that held the tail, sending a massive vibration through Hiruko's metal.

Sasori felt the impact from the inside. That weapon isn't just for cutting, he analyzed coldly. The combination of the axe and the hammer creates an impact force capable of ignoring any solid defense.

The sound of wood being struck echoed, making Jinin realize he was fighting a puppet instead of a person.

"So, you're a puppeteer. I wonder where your real body is, since you know how to hide yourself so well," Jinin said.

"You'll have to find me. It doesn't matter if this puppet breaks; I have more coming," Sasori replied.

Jinin looked around, searching for any sign of Sasori's location, but he found nothing.

He realized that if he didn't destroy this puppet, he wouldn't win. He lunged back, this time with much more speed than before.

Jinin was known for his aggressive style, often willing to take a hit just to end the fight.

Hiruko, with its large body, relied solely on its tail to defend in close combat. Sasori had to be extra careful dealing with the axe-hammer combo.

Seeing the axe coming, Sasori moved the tail to stop the blow and then opened Hiruko's mouth to launch a cloud of purple smoke directly at Jinin.

Retracting the axe toward him, Jinin delivered a powerful strike with his hammer, creating a strong gust of wind that blew the purple smoke away.

Noting his opportunity, Jinin moved back into the attack. Seeing that Sasori was trying to retract the tail, the swordsman jumped, landing heavily on the ground and creating a small crater.

He used the strength of his legs to propel himself forward again, this time launching a horizontal slash that Hiruko barely dodged by crouching.

From the back of the puppet, Sasori activated the projectile mechanism: Senbon of Poison

Hundreds of needles soaked in a purple toxin shot out like a deadly rain from Hiruko's shell. Jinin, however, was not frightened. Instead of retreating, he began to spin the heavy chain of the Kabutowari with one hand, then struck the ground forcefully with the hammer.

This caused a shockwave that tore through the broken ground, acting as a wall of earth to block the needles.

"Pathetic! That attempt was weak. Try harder!" Jinin roared.

The Mist swordsman closed the distance in a blink. Sasori tried to use Hiruko's tail to pierce his opponent's chest, but Jinin was already close enough. He hooked the axe of his sword into the metal stinger, and before Sasori could retract it, he slammed the hammer onto the back of the axe.

The sound was deafening. Hiruko's iron tail, designed to withstand almost any impact, bent violently toward the ground, pinned down and out of commission.

Jinin continued his attack. Taking advantage of the fact that the puppet was anchored to the ground by its own weapon, he jumped and unleashed the hammer-axe combo directly onto the wooden hump.

"Let's see if your shell can handle this!" Jinin shouted.

The impact was total. Hiruko's structure disintegrated under the massive physical pressure. The reinforced wood flew into a thousand pieces, revealing the complex internal mechanisms that were now nothing but scrap metal.

Jinin landed further away, convinced that the puppet was completely destroyed.

Looking around, he tried to find the puppeteer, but just like before, there was no one nearby. He could only watch as the dust cloud began to clear.

To Jinin's surprise, a figure leaped backward from the debris with inhuman elegance.

Sasori landed softly on a tree branch, showing his true face for the first time. Jinin was momentarily speechless; he expected to see an old veteran or a hardened warrior, not a young man with red hair and eyes of absolute coldness.

"You've destroyed my transport," Sasori said, his voice devoid of emotion as he pulled three scrolls from his robe.

"Heh, so you were inside the puppet the whole time? You seem to have a good brain. A shame you'll die today," Jinin remarked.

"That hasn't been decided yet. You are stronger than I thought, but I still have weapons left to fight," Sasori said.

Sasori tossed the scrolls into the air. In three puffs of smoke, Karasu (Crow), Kuroari (Black Ant), and Sanshūuo (Salamander) appeared, along with two other standard-design support puppets.

Regaining his shark-like grin, Jinin looked at the puppets with contempt. "Do you think five puppets are enough to stop me? You'll need an army, and even then, it will all end the same way before the Kabutowari."

The battle resumed with a frantic intensity. From the tree, Sasori began to command his puppets. Karasu was the first to move, opening its weapon to launch poison smoke bombs around Jinin, while the two support puppets flanked him with hidden blades.

Jinin, on guard against the puppets' movements, did not retreat. He held his breath to avoid the poison and began forming hand signs.

"Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Style: Wild Water Wave)!" Jinin exclaimed.

A high-pressure cascade of water erupted from his mouth, dispersing Karasu's poison and pushing back the support puppets, creating the space he needed to charge.

Sasori reacted immediately; Sanshūuo positioned itself in front of him, deploying its massive iron shield to intercept Jinin's strike.

The clash of the hammer against the Salamander's shield made the nearby trees tremble. With quick movements, Sasori began to distance himself from Jinin, preferring long-range combat.

Jinin growled in frustration seeing that his blow was contained and that Sasori had moved away, but he didn't stop and ran toward him. As he leaped through the trees, he didn't notice Kuroari sliding across the ground at high speed behind him.

Observing the perfect moment for Kuroari's technique, Sasori activated it. In a swift motion, the "Black Ant" opened its abdominal compartment, trapping Jinin inside.

"I've got him," Sasori muttered, closing his fingers to seal the trap. "Kurohigi: Kiki Ippatsu

With Jinin trapped inside the puppet, Sasori continued the combined attack with Karasu moving in and activating its mechanism.

Karasu separated into multiple pieces, each with a blade ready to enter the slots of Kuroari to end the swordsman's life.

Karasu's blades began to approach the puppet, but Jinin was no ordinary ninja who would die without a fight. From inside the puppet, a cry of pure rage and a flash of brute force erupted.

"DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME, BRAT!"

A burst of chakra and a sharp strike of the hammer against the axe resonated from inside Kuroari.

The wood, designed to contain powerful enemies, could not withstand the focused vibration of the Kabutowari.

The capture puppet exploded from the inside, with wooden panels flying in all directions. Jinin emerged from the remains, his face covered in dust but with a look of murderous fury after being trapped by a child.

Jinin gave Sasori no time to reorganize after the failure of his technique. With surprising speed, he lunged at the remaining puppets.

Sasori tried to move Karasu away, but it was too late; Jinin used an upward slash that split the attack puppet in two.

Following the attack, Jinin didn't go for another puppet this time, but for the puppeteer controlling them. Closing in, he launched another strike to finish Sasori, but Sanshūuo appeared in the middle, taking the hit.

Recovering his axe, Jinin decided to end this annoying puppet. He jumped over it, striking the axe even harder than before. The force dented the iron shield, and to finish it, the hammer smashed through, completely breaking the Salamander's defense.

The two remaining puppets went for Jinin, managing to cut his clothes, but he took them down with simple blows, destroying them and leaving Sasori with no puppets left.

In minutes, the once-quiet forest was now a graveyard of wood and metal. The remains of Karasu, Kuroari, Sanshūuo, and the two support puppets lay scattered in the mud.

Jinin stopped, resting his heavy weapon on his shoulder. His breathing was heavy, but his smile was one of absolute victory.

He looked at Sasori, who stood alone with no more "toys" in sight and his defensive line completely annihilated.

"The show is over, puppeteer," Jinin said, chuckling as he walked toward the young man from Suna. "Your puppets were clever, as is your skill, I admit. But in the end, the strongest one always wins, and on this battlefield, that's me."

Sasori nodded at his words; to him, it was the same the strong decided fate. But while he lacked physical strength like Jinin, he had his own ways of winning.

Jinin raised his hammer, preparing to end the fight with a final impact that would pulverize Sasori. He was convinced the boy was defeated, his arsenal exhausted, and that fear would finally appear on his face.

But Sasori didn't move. He showed no signs of panic, exhaustion, or defeat. In fact, his expressionless eyes remained fixed on Jinin, as if he were watching an experiment that was only just getting interesting.

"It's disappointing that you think that was all," Sasori said, his voice icy. "You've destroyed my first puppets. But now, I will show you the true meaning of my art. The art that never perishes and which will ascend to be the best in the world."

Sasori reached into his robe and pulled out a new scroll, this one dark and sinister, with the seal for "Human" engraved in the center.

Jinin frowned, his smile flickering for the first time at his opponent's absolute calm. Then, after an explosion of smoke, five new puppets appeared.

To Jinin's shock, all of them looked incredibly human he couldn't even tell the difference between real people and wood.

"I hope you are ready for my art."
