Nora's POV
James presses his lips against mine before he bothers with any explanations, and I don't resist. The comfort of his powerful embrace feels incredible right now. "Alright, break it up, you two." Hilary approaches us, still using that same tablecloth to wipe down the enchanted blade.
Her gaze shifts to the lifeless demon with a mixture of admiration and worry. We managed to eliminate a demon with surprising ease, which troubles her. She's not significantly stronger than this creature was, and it had terrified her. "How exactly are we going to handle this situation?"
"Gas explosion," James responds as though the answer should be obvious. "Nothing will remain."
"What about the buildings nearby?" I question, grimacing at the thought. We're positioned away from the main street, but I refuse to endanger innocent people.
"They might experience some minor damage," he informs me. "Everything will work out."
