Nora's POV
"What the hell does he want?" I growled, hurling my phone onto the coffee table with enough force to send it skidding across the surface and onto the hardwood floor with a sharp crack. The screen landed face down, and I winced. The device wasn't to blame for my frustration, and the last thing I needed was to waste time setting up a new phone. I made a mental note to back everything up to the cloud later.
I already had countless photos and videos of Renata, and I refused to let myself think about losing them. There would be plenty of time to capture millions more memories in the years ahead.
"There's only one way to find out," James said with a heavy sigh, his jaw tight with barely contained rage. "I should have ended him the moment I had the chance."
"Now you're speaking my language," Winston announced, materializing in the family room as if he'd been there all along. "Who exactly are we eliminating today?"
