The next day, Amanda wore red shorts and a white sweater as she sat on the sofa. Sack sat next to her, wearing a gray sweater and pants.
"It's a gift. Take it," Sack said cheerfully.
Amanda opened the wooden box and saw the beautiful A-rank staff.
"Sack, this looks very expensive," she said, somewhat surprised.
"No, nothing is enough." Sack caressed Amanda's cheek and kissed her on the forehead.
A tear slid down Amanda's beautiful, pretty face, and she hugged Sack.
"Thank you, but you don't have to spend so much," she said.
Wrapping his arms around Amanda's small waist, he hugged her and pulled her onto his lap.
A deep kiss, a look, another kiss.
"I already told you, nothing is enough. Let's enjoy our time together," he said honestly.
They hugged each other; it was a warm moment, then Amanda stood up to make breakfast.
He, on the other hand, checked the messages on his cell phone and was annoyed to see messages from the Awakened Association.
[Wow, host, if there were an affinity meter from 1 to 100]
[She would be at 100]
"Don't even think about it. You've already made it difficult enough by getting women with a beauty rating of 9 out of 10," Sack replied after checking the messages sent to him by the women with whom he had developed an affinity.
He put his cell phone in his pocket and didn't bother to check the messages from the Awakened Association.
He didn't want to get involved with what was happening in the dangerous Monster Paradise.
...
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Amanda and Sack were watching a movie when someone knocked on the door.
She got up first and went to open it.
"Good morning! Is Mr. Wilson here?" Aleria asked politely.
Among the four people standing outside the apartment was the beautiful Aleria, her formal clothes hugging her gorgeous, sensual body. She was still an exquisite-looking woman, with her long black hair, beautiful face, and gray eyes.
"Good morning, wait a minute," Amanda said, closing the door.
After she explained to Sack, he got up.
"I figured as much," Sack thought as he walked toward the door.
Sack opened it, and Aleria, with her steady, professional gaze, looked at him and said:
"Mr. Sack, we need you to accompany us to the Awakened Association."
Aleria looked at Amanda and then added:
"This is a confidential matter."
Amanda clung to Sack's arm, worried.
"Amanda..."
"I want to come with you." Amanda's gaze was tender; she was worried.
"She will accompany me," Sack said to Aleria.
Although Sack's tone seemed relaxed, his gaze seemed to brook no opposition.
Dressed in dark-colored casual clothes, both Sack and Amanda wore black masks, dark glasses, and blue caps.
They got into one of the cars. Inside was supervisor Selene. Aleria got into another car.
A beautiful woman with long blue hair, light blue eyes, fair skin, and a slender figure radiated an elegant beauty. She wore a black suit and carried black gloves in her hand, with two daggers on either side of her waist. Selene's class was Assassin, and her rank was S.
Selene handed Sack an electronic tablet.
"Please read the report." Selene's voice was pleasant but also had the touch of professionalism that Aleria used.
"What for? Do they think I'm a hero who's going to enter that dangerous place?" Sack questioned in his mind, but he read the report anyway.
"...The predominant monsters in Monster Paradise are B-rank monsters, which are prey to higher-rank monsters..."
"...The identified monsters are..."
"There are signs of three powerful unidentified S+ rank monsters, although it is believed that there may be more..."
"...A few days after the breach, the signal of an SS rank monster was detected..."
"...The SS rank monster was not detected again..."
Next to him, Amanda looked a little pale. Sack, thanks to the integration of the experiences, memories, and knowledge gained from using various S-rank cards, was calmer, although his hands were sweating a little, because he knew he was still only at B-rank. He depended on the S-rank cards, which were practically S+ rank, as he had understood when using the cards.
"An SS-rank monster, obviously. If that demon woman I killed had come out of that abyssal dungeon, she would have reached SS rank without any problems, because she was an S+ rank that I had trouble defeating, which led me to use two cards," Sack thought as he continued reading.
After finishing reading, Sack returned the tablet to Selene.
He was silent for a few seconds, then hugged Amanda and said:
"Relax, everything will be fine. You trust me, right?"
"Yes!" She didn't hesitate.
Amanda felt a little calmer after seeing Sack acting normally.
...
Selene was looking ahead and said to him:
"The president of the Association wants to meet with you and important representatives of the World Organization of Awakened Ones."
"You mean they want to use me as a standard-bearer or trophy," Sack replied without seeming upset.
Selene preferred not to comment and let him draw his own conclusions when he spoke with the president of the Association of Awakened Ones.
...
A short time later, Amanda and Sack entered the association through an underground entrance, then took an elevator down to the underground facilities.
Unlike the previous time, there was more activity there, as officials and awakened individuals appeared to be preparing for possible chaos.
...
In a spacious and comfortable office, without excessive luxury but not lacking in amenities, a handsome man with long blond hair, golden eyes, and fair skin, who appeared to be 30 years old at most, was wearing an elegant black suit. He was sitting in a leather armchair and offered Sack a seat in another armchair.
As there were only two armchairs, Selene stood next to Dagan Rogers, the president of the Awakened Association.
[Rank S+]
[Class: Lord of Light]
"That sounds excessively powerful," Sack thought to himself.
Amanda was going to stand next to Sack, but he pulled her down and sat her on his lap.
"You're my woman, you don't have to do that," Sack said to Amanda, which was also a hint to Dagan.
