Chapter 106 - Chapter 106 Dimensional Space

  Chapter 106 Dimensional Space

Finnie pressed his advantage, amplified by the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique,' unleashing his full speed and power. In the blink of an eye, he was beside Hulk again, his fist, the size of a sandbag, slamming down on Hulk's head.

Normally, Hulk would have been enraged, his strength and defense greatly increased, ready to retaliate.

Unfortunately, due to the influence of the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique,' Hulk was still tinged with pleasure, unable to gain the amplified anger. Moreover, Finnie had even summoned the 'Violet Chicken Nugget Roll' to distract him.

Finnie was truly ruthless in his pursuit of victory.

Finally, before the amplification of the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' wore off, the naive and ignorant Hulk was ultimately defeated by the cunning and treacherous Finnie, and was knocked unconscious.

Finnie, having exhausted all means, finally secured his first hard-fought victory, feeling exceptionally happy.

This is Hulk! Even if he's at his weakest, he's still Hulk, one of the strongest creatures on Earth, and he was defeated today.

  "So, who's weaker, who's stronger?!"

Having learned his lesson, Finnie forced a smile, looking at the bruised and swollen Hulk as he woke up, his face smug, as if he were incredibly proud

of himself. Hulk, unaware of Finnie's underhanded tactics, felt wronged and furious at his defeat. He

angrily slammed his fist on the ground and replied, "Hulk, I'm not feeling well today."

"Never mind whether you're feeling well or not, who won?"

Finnie guiltily shrugged. He clearly remembered Hulk saying he didn't deserve to win; he was always one to hold grudges.

  "Master, you won!"

Although Hulk was filled with resentment, he still dared to admit defeat. But he immediately stood up, clenched his fist, and said, "Again, Hulk, back to normal!"

The effect of the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' disappeared, and Hulk's heart was filled with resentment and anger. Now was the time when his strength was greatly increased, and Finnie did not want to be beaten.

The main problem was that Hulk didn't know when to stop during battles; when he went berserk, it was truly terrifying.

"Alright, let's call it a day!"

Finnie waved his hand dismissively, seemingly unwilling to bully Hulk anymore.

"Again, Hulk, you have to win!"

Hulk, however, was reluctant, insisting on another fight, determined to get his revenge.

  "Next time, next time!"

Finnie refused to fight again; the previous battle had taken a toll on him, and another match might make it difficult to even maintain a draw.

Finally, Finnie used various foods and toys, along with the promise of a rematch in three days, to appease Hulk and persuade him to give up the idea of another round.

On the way back, Hulk seemed very sullen, showing little interest in the TV programs or his new toys, which made Finnie feel a little guilty—wasn't that a bit much?

However, thinking about the experience gained from the victory, he immediately put aside his guilt and began considering how to repeat the process in three days.

Normally, fighting the Hulk without winning is roughly equivalent to a week of training in Kamar-Taj, but this victory tripled that.

In other words, each victory against the Hulk was equivalent to winning twenty Mordos.

This gain was enough for Finnie to temporarily throw away his principles and focus on winning until he got his sixth draw.

Besides, although this method seemed despicable, it was all due to his ability, a victory he won through his own skill, nothing shameful about it.

  ...

  Kamar-Taj.

After experiencing the Hulk, fighting Mordo again felt different to Finnie. It was like the ease and disdain one feels when fighting elite mobs after defeating a boss.

In the training ground, the perceptive Mordo noticed Finnie's strange gaze, but not understanding its meaning, he asked, "Why are you looking at me like that..."

  "Nothing!"

Finnie shook his head. Regardless, Mordo was quite strong. He had considered that Mordo's experience seemed a bit low, or perhaps Hulk's experience was too high.

After some serious thought, he concluded it was a matter of skill utilization.

Mordo was a seasoned mage of Kamar-Taj, with exceptional control over his power. During his fight with Finnie, he always held back, focusing on guidance, and never used powerful spells.

Hulk, on the other hand, didn't care who you were when he fought. He'd use every ounce of force he could muster.

Every battle was a full-on assault, aiming to crush Finnie.

This was probably why even the weakest Hulk had the equivalent of twenty Mordo's experience points.

Equipping 'Demon Possession', Finnie began his daily sparring with Mordo. The

'Physical Resistance' evolved from 'Demon Possession' greatly increased Finnie's strength. Against Mordo, he could ignore most of his attacks and directly confront him head-on with his fists.

Inexplicably, their fighting styles began to resemble the Hulk's.

"You're a mage, Finnie, you need to learn to use spells!"

Mordo, unable to withstand a direct confrontation, could only dodge while shouting.

  "Oh, right."

Finnie snapped back to reality, silently chanting, "Explosion!"

A crimson magic circle appeared, and a pillar of fire descended from the sky. Fortunately, Mordo's Walter Boots allowed him to dodge quickly enough, avoiding being hit by the 'Explosion Magic.'

  "I mean normal spells!"

Mordo shouted again. Although this could indeed be classified as a spell, they were both arcane mages of Kamar-Taj; shouldn't they use their own methods in a friendly spar?

  "Tsk!"

Finnie looked at Mordo with some disdain, but unusually, he didn't want to bully him. He summoned the Ring of Gargador, which he hadn't used in a long time and was somewhat rusty with, and began fighting Mordo methodically, in the Kamar-Taj style.

After the battle ended and they gained another unit of experience, Finnie and Mordo chatted idly.

  "How's Kasirius doing now?"

Finnie asked casually. He was the only unstable factor in Kamar-Taj, but because of the Ancient One, he couldn't do anything out of line.

"He's recovering quite well. You should spend more time with him, Finnie. He's actually a pretty good guy,"

Mordo replied hastily, eager to improve the relationship between Kasirius and Finnie.

  "Sigh, maybe another time!"

Finnie sighed. Sometimes he really wanted to have a good talk with the Ancient One about how she managed to refrain from changing things, even knowing the future.

Was it simply because the ending was good?

Finnie didn't know; his understanding of the future was limited to the plot he knew from his previous life, and now, with his involvement, it could only be used as a reference.

"Alright, let's not talk about him anymore. I feel like I'm starting to understand dimensions a bit more lately. Tell me more about it."

Finnie pulled himself out of his thoughts and began asking Mordo about magic. Since opening that strange portal, he had finally made some progress in understanding 'Mirror Dimensions'.

The main difficulty now lies in the dimensional space.
