Daniella's POV
"Hi, I called to tell you I've gotten home" Gary said, as soon as I answered the call.
"Oh, thank you so much for today" I replied.
"You need to come to the company tomorrow to finalize the design for our new project, sorry I forgot to tell you earlier". He said, his voice calm and soft as ever.
"That's not a problem, I'll come with the final blueprint tomorrow" I replied, grinning inwardly.
We talked for a minute before hanging up.

"Hi everyone" I said, as I walked into the meeting room, where everyone was waiting for Gary to show up.
"Hi," they all echoed.
I took a sit and started arranging the papers I'll use for my presentation. The weather was nice, the wind was cold but subtle. A paper flew from my stack, as i instinctively reached to grab it, my hand met his. I locked eyes with him and this sent sparks flying.
"Oh uhm..Uhmm good afternoon" I said, shivering as I took the paper from him.
"Let's start" he said, as he took his seat.
The meeting went well and my design got approved. I got out of the meeting room, adjusting my bag while texting my mom to tell her the good news.
"I'll drive you to your office" I heard a calm manly voice behind me.
A smile curled up on my face as I followed him like a little girl asking for candy.
"Great job today, I'm really impressed" he commended me.
"Thank you, I had to try my best, didn't want to let you down," I teased.
We both laughed. I got to the office and told my employees about the good news, they were so happy as that meant an increment in their salaries.

AT THE HOSPITAL.
Gary's POV
The smell of medicines hit me as I walked into the hospital, I looked around, it's been years since I stepped into this hospital. Before I could take in everything, Ashley threw her hands around me, she hugged me do tight, I could barely breathe.
"I missed you soo much" she cried as she refused to let go.
"Ashley, you're gonna kill me," I said, choking and freeing myself from her hug.
"You didn't even tell me when you got back" she said. "That's not fair, I had to hear it from your grandmother".
"I'm sorry, it was impromptu," I patted her head. "But I'm here now, right?" I asked.
She nodded, smiling wildly at me.
Ashley is my childhood friend, my grandmother and her grandfather are business partners. She's always been like a sister to me and I totally adore her. We took a walk around the hospital before going to her office to have a cup of tea.
"So, are you seeing anybody? Got a girlfriend in the US?" She asked me, locking eyes with me and smiling.
"Oh shit, you're scaring me," I said, moving my chair backwards.
"No, I'm not seeing anyone, I have no time for that and I need to focus on my business for now" I said to her, sipping my tea.
"Oh that great" she whispered to herself.
"What did you say?" I asked with curiosity, I barely heard what she said.
"Oh it's nothing. How's grandma?" She asked.
"She's okay, you can come over this weekend to say hi to her" I replied.
"Oh that'll be lovely".
The day went fast, I went back to my office, not long after, I went home.
I looked inside my drawer and say a teddy bear. My Favourite toy, I smiled as I touched its nose.
"If only I could meet the owner of this doll".
"I don't know if she's dead or alive, but I'll find her" I said before falling asleep.
