The kiss had caught me by surprise, but I quickly—on instinct, leaned into her and opened my mouth to give her all of me.
Ms. Duval…Madeleine, had kissed me in the past, but none of them rivaled this hungry, desperate way she devoured me. It was almost impossible to match her rhythm as her lips moved over mine.
It sent a tingling sensation down to the tip of my toes.
I hesitated, my hands hanging mid-air. I wanted to circle them around her waist, but with Madeleine you could never be so sure.

I touched my collarbone. "I'm sorry?" I wasn't even sure what I was apologizing for. I just wanted to go back to kissing her.
