Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : The Weapon that erases Divinity

Atlas, as if finally grasping the situation, laughed, " so today is the day of my eternal rest huh, not bad, not bad, I didn't think that lizard would choose to side with me, I always thought that with his Pride, he would be the one to lead my enemies but alas, even with my divination mastery I was blind. If he had doted on the Dragon Kaelvorn rather than treating it as a mere mount, and cherished Caelan and Iria instead of disregarding them because he disapproved of their love and their comprehension of the laws of Yin and Yang, then perhaps the location of his Hidden Cultivation Realm pocket would not have been leaked. Perhaps he would not now be fighting against nearly a quarter of all divine beings while in a weakened state.

Kaelis, the God of War, finally drew his knife, which was sheathed, yet even within its sheath, the space around it bent, laws evaded it, and the entire battlefield suddenly became quiet. He then unsheathed the blade and waved it at Atlas with all his divine might, sending a slash that lopped off his left arm.

Atlas looked at his severed arm, which was not regenerating, yet no shock was evident in his eyes. Instead, there was ecstasy, for beneath his divine flesh he could see the outline of an indestructible essence clinging to the wound, faintly trying to heal it.
