Chapter 6: The Celestial Call and Volt's Rage
As soon as the crystal gate shattered, the sky turned a brilliant, blinding yellow. The mist vanished, replaced by a heavy pressure that made even Sai struggle to breathe. From within the clouds, a voice like rolling thunder echoed: "Who is the mortal who dares to defy the Celestial Law?"
A massive shadow descended from the heavens. It was a man with great white wings, clad in golden armor that radiated a holy light. He was a "Divine Arbitrator," one of the entities sent by the Fake Gods to guard the Elven continent.
Volt looked up with a mocking grin. "Arbitrator? You are nothing but lapdogs wearing the skin of men. I have come to tear off those wings you've crafted from stolen magic."
Sai gripped his sword tightly, "My Lord, this one is different. I can feel an immense pressure." But Aki, who was casually sharpening a piece of wood with his daggers, muttered, "His wings look soft. I bet they'd make a great pillow!"
The Arbitrator raised his glowing sword and fired a beam of pure energy at Volt. Without moving an inch, Volt caught the beam with his bare left hand and crushed the light into nothingness. "System, activate 'Void Devourer'," Volt whispered.
In an instant, a massive black shadow erupted from behind Volt, swallowing all the light in the forest. For the first time, the Arbitrator felt true fear. He realized that this was no ordinary demon; this was the King who, thousands of years ago, had shaken the very foundations of heaven
