Chapter 14 - Report

The maids and guards rushed to attend to Lena, their faces etched with worry as they carefully took her from Leon's arms. "Don't worry, milord, we'll take good care of her," one of the maids said, her voice soothing.

Leon nodded, his expression softening slightly as he watched them tend to his sister. Once he was satisfied that she was in good hands, he turned to the guards. "See that no one disturbs her. I want her to rest and recover."

The guards nodded, their faces serious. "Yes, milord. We'll make sure she's not bothered."

With that, Leon turned and made his way to his chambers, his footsteps quiet on the marble floor. stripping off his clothes and collapsing onto his bed, exhaustion washing over him like a dark tide.

Within moments, he was fast asleep, his body worn out from the battle and his mind finally able to rest. The stress and tension of the day melted away, leaving him in a deep and dreamless sleep.

...

Arlott in his room had a calm gaze as he seemed to be in deep thought, suddenly there was a swift knock on his door .

"Enter" he said in haste

The door opened to reveal a lady with blonde hair, a bit in her early twenties, she was none other than Lylia.

She instinctly took a bow

"Pardon my intrusion my lord, I'm here to report"

"Nevermind just get to the topic " Arlott was quite eager to hear the details from her herself

The main reason why he assigned assistants in the first place was to record their actions, although his children will be allowed to choose attendant that are responsible for their well-being, there was no doubt that he wanted to see how his kids actually faired in real battle and Lylia was assigned just for that.

While he himself was an S Rank adventurer, already in his full potential, he always wondered how his kids will take this kind of life .

"Begin" Arlott said, with a bit of command.

Some minutes later....

"I see" this wasn't what he had expected, the new generations really are frightening, it seems that even Lena can now take on C rank beasts.

Also, Julian and Lily seem to be sync together as a team, that works for them.

Although, he knew Julian needed some scolding, his rash behavior led to the whole crew in danger, if his son would become an adventurer he knew he had to kill this overconfident spirit his, or it will lead to his downfall.

The world of adventurers was an unforgiving place, adventurers die everyday, a single mistake in the woods, especially a forest like Beastglade would lead to disaster, not just for the adventurers but also for the city.

While Julian had talent to become a prominent adventure, he needed to learn though, how dangerous this world was.

"Although, I requested an E rank mission for them Lylia, why were Hogoblins and Goblin archers found in the forest"

Also, there was possibility a Goblin Knight may exist in the cave, it almost looks like, a dungeon

According to Lylia the monsters kept on increasing in in both strength and intelligence.

This was only found in a dungeon, this also means that it wasn't a mere cave.

Although he was the one who picked the quest there was no doubt that he thought it was just a regular E rank quest, now this had led to something else .

"Report this information to the guild, tell them to investigate the cave immediately" Arlot said with a sense of urgency.

"As you wish my lord" Lylia bowed as she exits the room.

When Lylia was gone Arlott looked at the moon, "it seems that it's that time again huh" he said as he as lost in deep thought .

***

The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over the city. The streets were quiet, save for the occasional distant shout or the soft hum of a night owl's wings. The buildings seemed to stretch out like giants, their shadows dancing across the ground like dark specters. While this wasn't a rare sight, something was quite different today. A feeling of tension hung in the air, like the whispered promise of a storm to come.

In a small bedroom, nestled in the heart of the city, a certain white-haired kid awoke with a start. His hair was messy, sticking out in every direction like a wild halo, and his expression was hardened, his brow furrowed in a mixture of frustration and anger. He sat up in bed, his sapphire eyes cold as ice as he gazed out the window at the moon.

The moon's silver light cast an eerie glow over his face, accentuating the sharp angles of his features. For a moment, he simply stared, his chest rising and falling with each breath. Then, without warning, he threw off the covers and stood up, his movements swift and decisive.

He didn't bother to tidy his hair or smooth out his clothes. Instead, he strode to the window and gazed out at the moon, his eyes burning with an inner intensity. The moon seemed to be calling to him, drawing him in with an otherworldly power.

As he stood there, the room around him began to fade away, the furniture and decorations blurring and dissolving into nothingness. The kid's eyes never left the moon, even as the world around him disappeared.

And then, in the blink of an eye, he vanished. One moment he was standing in his bedroom, the next he was gone,

He reappeared in a familiar cave, the goblin cave. The air was thick with the stench of rot and decay, and the sound of scuttling creatures echoed through the darkness. The kid's eyes snapped into focus, his gaze piercing through the shadows as he took in his surroundings.
