Date : 31/08/2040

...

In the capital of the human nation of Everett, Silford, the streets pulsed with life. even though it was night time, everyone was doing their thing .

A sly merchant attempted to scam a unsuspecting customer.

"Ah, good sir, this potion will grant you strength and vitality in battle!" the merchant exclaimed, holding up a dubious-looking vial. "A mere 5 gold pieces, pretty cheap isn't it !"

The customer, a young warrior, eyed the potion skeptically. "I'm not sure... I've seen similar potions before, and they didn't work as promised."

The merchant smiled, his eyes glinting with deceit. "Ah, but this is different, I assure you! The finest ingredients, brewed under the light of the full moon. You won't find a deal like this anywhere else, I promise."

"But the potion shop here says one silver for one potion sir", the rookie adventurer queried

"Don't mind it my good sir, their potion are fake, mine's genuine I promise you even Lord Arlott buys from me" .

"Really ? In that case give me two" the naive adventurer quickly agreed.

It's amusing how mere words can be so persuading.

Just as the adventurer was about to hand over the gold, a burly guard strolled by, eyeing the merchant's wares. "You wouldn't be selling fake potions again, would you, Grimgold?" he asked, his voice firm.

The merchant's smile faltered, and he hastily stowed the vial away. "Ah, no, good sir! Just... uh... demonstrating the quality of my goods."

As the scene unfolded, the city around them came alive. Despite the darkness of night, the streets of Eldrida teemed with people, their faces aglow with lanterns and magical lights. It was as if the city never slept, its inhabitants fueled by a restless energy that defied the conventions of day and night.

In the shadows, street performers juggled glowing orbs, while others played lively tunes on enchanted instruments that seemed to dance in the air. The smell of exotic spices and roasting meats wafted through the air, enticing passersby to sample the culinary delights of the city's many vendors.

As people from all walks of life went about their business, the city seemed to pulse with a life of its own.

Merchants hawked their wares, artisans crafted their masterpieces, and travelers sought out adventure and excitement. The night air was alive with the hum of activity, a symphony of sound and color that was both mesmerizing and overwhelming.

It was a city that never knew rest, where the boundaries between day and night were blurred, and the pursuit of pleasure and profit knew no bounds. And amidst this whirlwind of activity, the adventurers gathered.

Even though a thousand years had passed since the Devil's invasion that doesn't mean that the war was over yet, there had been various instances where Devil's had been spotted to be seen in various places , and everytime that happens there was always a murder of humans at the specific place .

Due to this bounty quests were placed on them for strong adventurers to hunt them.

To even start with there was a forest behind the capital full of different types of magical beasts and monsters, due to the fact that there was always a monster horde every decade the city defense was reinforced to it's maximum capacity.

Adventurers take different quests and hunt monsters in the forest however, not even S Rank adventurers have been able to map thirty percent of the forest, afterall, the forest was forest was full of mysteries.

The Phoenix Guild was abuzz with activity, members gathered around tables, sharing stories and strategizing quests. The air was thick with the smell of ale and sweat, the sound of clinking glasses and laughter filling the room. Suddenly, a hush fell over the crowd as murmurs began to spread like wildfire.

"Is that...?" someone whispered, eyes fixed on the entrance.

"Yes, it's him in flesh and blood".

"He's back," another guild member breathed, their voice barely audible over the din.

The room seemed to part, people shifting to get a glimpse of the newcomer. A tall, imposing figure stood in the doorway, his piercing gaze scanning the room as if searching for someone or something. The atmosphere in the guild seemed to shift, with many eyes fixed on this individual, a mixture of awe and reverence on their faces.

As the murmurs grew louder, it became clear that this was someone of great significance.

"I can't believe I'm seeing him up close,

"Looks like Lord Arlott has completed another S rank quest again" murmurs filled the crowd as they were looking at their very ace .

Standing in front of the receptionist table was a tall imposing figure, short dark hair and crimson eyes with some scars that seem to testify to his years of battle experience, he was dressed in plain black robes that distinguished him from other adventurers while two attendants were at his back with his combat luggage.

His name is Arlott Silford
