"Silly, let me." Suddenly, Morgan Sinclair leaned over, a mischievous smile on his face that sent a shiver down Ashley Bowen's spine. 'The way he's looking at me... is he planning to sell me out?'
His large hands reached around in front of her and quickly buckled her seatbelt. Just as Ashley Bowen was about to relax, she suddenly held her breath again.
After buckling the seatbelt, Morgan Sinclair suddenly braced one hand against the car door, pinning Ashley Bowen under his arm. His eyes held a peculiar, mocking glint.
"We're going to go test your husband. Let's see if he's just playing around with you, or if he actually wants to marry you."
With that, Morgan Sinclair burst out laughing, sat back in his seat, and stomped on the gas. The sports car shot off like an arrow.
The car sped wildly down the road. Ashley Bowen clung to the door, her face deathly pale. The moment the car stopped, she scrambled out and crouched in an empty space, vomiting violently.
