He had been in the room for several minutes, but Ms. Ross hadn't so much as glanced up at him.
Archie Lockwood had no patience left. He cleared his throat and called out coldly, "Ms. Ross."
At the sound of his voice, Yara Ross stopped eating. She dabbed at her mouth with a napkin and looked up in his direction. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise when she saw him. "It's you?"
"Hah. So, Ms. Ross *does* remember me?" Archie Lockwood scoffed.
"Of course I remember. You're... you're that... the Lockwood family's real son, the one who came back..."
"Heh, so you haven't mistaken me for someone else this time."
She was confused. 'My memory isn't usually that great, but I have a knack for remembering the wealthy and influential.'
So, when Archie Lockwood said that, Yara Ross immediately recalled the time she had mistaken him for Mr. Kent.
If Archie Lockwood didn't appear on TV so often, she might never have realized what a huge mistake she had made back then.
