「Newcroft. The villa district.」
Ever since she called Silas Kent yesterday, Mika Summers's mood had become heavy.
'I can't shake the feeling that something bad is about to happen...'
Tristan Grayson saw her standing at the sink, supposedly washing dishes, but her hands hadn't moved for a long time. He placed Kiki on the sofa and walked over to Mika. When he reached her side, he wrapped his arms around her waist, rested his head on her shoulder, and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing." Mika snapped out of her daze at the sound of his voice and shook her head with a smile.
"Let me wash up. You go spend time with Kiki."
Mika put down the bowl she was holding, washed her hands, and turned to face Tristan Grayson, her expression serious. "Tristan, I need to tell you something. But you have to promise you won't get angry when you hear it."
"What is it?" Seeing her sudden seriousness, Tristan's smile faded.
"First promise me you won't get angry, then I'll tell you."
