Leng Yuan calmly took the bankbook from Gu Jiaojiao's hands, locked it in a drawer, and gave her the key.

Gu Jiaojiao glanced at the sky outside. It was still bright. The grain distribution had ended late, so they'd gotten back around two in the afternoon. After cooking and eating, it was now four-something, not quite five o'clock at most.
