At this point, the only person Vera Xavier could ask for news about Winter Sullivan was Sheldon Caldwell. And Sheldon was likely by Winter's side, not at the university. She knew she'd have to wait until she found him tomorrow to get an update.
Vera Xavier sighed to herself. Lying in bed, she couldn't fall asleep.
She'd only met Winter Sullivan twice, but she realized she genuinely enjoyed her company. It was completely different from how it had been with Rona Langdon.
Perhaps it was a natural mother-daughter connection, or maybe it was just that Rona Langdon and Winter Sullivan projected entirely different feelings toward her.
Vera Xavier just wished for morning to come sooner so she could see Sheldon Caldwell.
