Hannah Hale smiled and nodded, finding a seat by the window. The glass was covered in condensation, and she turned sideways, her fair fingertips tracing the two words "Christmas Eve" on the pane.
Morgan Joyce, who had just come out of the restroom, watched Hannah's back with a gentle gaze, a smile playing on his lips.
"Why are you here eating noodles by yourself? Shouldn't you be with Nathan Redgrave?"
Hearing his voice, Hannah turned around, looking at Morgan with some surprise. "You're alone too?"
Morgan sat down next to her and turned his head to look at her. "Yeah. On Christmas Eve, everyone's in pairs. I'm just so pathetic."
'Hannah truly couldn't imagine a CEO as cool and aloof as Morgan Joyce saying something that only a sweet, puppy-dog-like guy would say. And surprisingly, she didn't find it out of place at all.'
"You're not pathetic. Isn't your big sis here with you?"
