"So you want me to steal her away?"
Hannah Hale chuckled, a bit mischievously. "Well, he's just her boyfriend. They're not married, so anything's possible, isn't it? Life is short. You don't always have to play by the rules."
"Are you sure you really want me to... steal her?"
Morgan Joyce tilted his head, watching the gentle, warm smile gracing her lips.
Hannah Hale felt like a villain, tempting a good kid to do something bad. "Well, if you don't make a move, and she really does end up as someone else's wife, you'll regret it for the rest of your life."
Hannah Hale looked down, picked a piece of beef from her bowl that was a bit too fatty, and placed it in Morgan Joyce's. "This has a bit of fat on it. You can have it."
"Okay, I'll eat it in a bit."
"You're almost thirty and you still don't have a girlfriend. The last time I video chatted with your mom, you have no idea how worried she was."
