"Bite your tongue! Who spends all day trying to keep their own uncle and aunt apart?"
Zachary Redgrave scoffed defiantly and took a large bite of his sandwich. "Grandma, I'd advise you to be a little nicer. Hannah Hale hasn't done anything to offend you."
His grandmother glared at her dense eldest grandson, so angry she wanted to hit him. "Hurry up and eat. Once you're finished, get out."
"I *am* eating. You're supposed to chew your food slowly. What's the rush?"
Ever since he'd gotten Aiden Shaw's backing, Zachary Redgrave had become incredibly brazen, showing his uncle no respect whatsoever. Before, he wouldn't have dared to meddle in his uncle's private life, not even if he had a hundred times the courage.
Hannah Hale awkwardly pulled her hand back, forcing herself to crack a smile. "Ma'am, I'm going to be late for work. I have to leave right away."
"But you've barely had a few bites. Why don't you finish eating before you go?"
"I can't, I'm really running out of time."
