"Laura was kidnapped by your birth mother. Two bodyguards just grabbed her and took her away."
All sleepiness vanished from Aiden Shaw in an instant. His deep, sea-dark eyes flashed with a terrifying viciousness.
"I know. Send me your current location."
"Okay, I'm sending it to you right now."
After ending the call, Aiden Shaw grabbed his clothes from the bedside, got dressed, and booked a flight to Sudglen for two hours later. Then, he called Ethan Shaw.
"Bro, aren't you supposed to be in Wesland? What's going on?"
Ethan Shaw was at a karaoke bar. He stepped out of the private room, plugging one ear to block out the racket from inside.
"May Shelby took Laura. I'm sending you the address now. Pull up the surveillance footage for the route. Hannah Hale and the others are chasing them, so get in touch with them."
"Is May Shelby out of her mind? What the hell is wrong with her? Don't worry, bro. I'll get on it right now."
"I'll get back as soon as I can."
