Zachary Redgrave grabbed his phone and dialed Hannah Hale's number, but all he got was a cold, mechanical voice.
"Shit."
Zachary Redgrave angrily slammed his fist on the steering wheel, then dialed his uncle's number.
"Did you find her?"
Nathan Redgrave was already driving toward the family estate, but he hadn't seen any sign of Hannah Hale along the way.
"I haven't found her, and her phone's still off. What the hell did you do to her? Why was she on the road by herself this late at night? If she runs into any bad people, I swear, this won't be over between us."
Nathan Redgrave pulled the car over to the side of the road and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You keep looking. I'll head home and check—maybe she's already back."
After hanging up, Nathan Redgrave flicked on his turn signal, made a U-turn, and headed back the way he came.
