Now that I'm getting older, I've really started to miss my homeland. I don't plan on leaving again now that I'm back.
Elder Irving put down his teacup and turned to the girl beside him. "Iris, hurry up and greet everyone."
"Hello, Uncle and Auntie. My name is Iris Irving."
The girl greeted them politely, a brilliant smile on her face.
"Yes, yes, of course. This girl has gotten so beautiful, I almost didn't recognize you."
Marian Miller said with a warm chuckle.
Back when Aiden Shaw's grandfather was still alive, they would occasionally accompany the old man on trips abroad to visit Elder Irving.
Iris Irving was just a shy young girl back then. It's hard to believe she's grown up so much in the blink of an eye.
"Auntie, will Dr. Shaw be back for dinner tonight?"
Iris Irving didn't hesitate to ask the question that was on her mind. This was the real reason she had insisted on dragging her grandfather to the Shaw family's home.
