Hannah Hale didn't want to mention Nathan Redgrave again, so she deliberately changed the subject.

Inside the mall, Peach trailed behind Hannah Hale and Laura Lowell, loaded down with shopping bags. She couldn't stop complaining, "Sigh... Can you two buy a little less? What kind of grudge do you have against money?"
Hannah Hale had just called Peach and told her to come be their gofer.
Laura Lowell's eyes landed on an exquisite pair of couple's watches in a display case. She smiled at the salesclerk and said, "Excuse me, could you get that pair of watches for me?"
