Aiden Shaw glanced sideways at the girl beside him, the corners of his eyes and brows filled with a tender smile.
The meal passed in a relatively harmonious atmosphere.
Elder Irving chatted with everyone in the living room for a while before heading home.
After seeing Elder Irving off, Nancy linked arms with Laura Lowell, grinning as she asked, "Loria, why don't you take me with you tomorrow? I'd love to pick a fight with that Iris Irving."
'This kid. Why is she always thinking about fighting?'
"Let's not. We're going for dinner, not to pick a fight."
"Fine, then. Anyway, with Shaw protecting you, you definitely won't be at a disadvantage."
Aiden Shaw rose from the sofa. "Mom, Dad, it's getting late. Laura and I are going to head back now."
"Alright. Drive safely on your way back."
"Uncle, Auntie, we'll be leaving now."
Laura Lowell smiled and said her goodbyes, then left with Aiden Shaw.
