When it was time for Samuel to go to the airport, it was once again Clara Grant who had to drag a reluctant Seth Quinn along to drive.
"Clara, Seth, I'm so sorry to trouble you with bringing us all the way to the airport." At the entrance, Samuel thanked the two of them, looking a little sheepish. "Thank you!"
"Samuel, I told you, you don't have to be so formal with us. Besides, the baby and I got along so well. He's leaving, so how could I not come to see him off?"
As Clara spoke, she kissed the cheek of the baby in her arms, making the little guy giggle.
Seeing his son's smile, Samuel smiled too. He dropped the pleasantries and turned his gaze to Seth Quinn.
He hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Seth, I know I probably shouldn't be asking this, but I have to. If it's at all possible, please don't let her suffer in there for too long, okay?"
