Si Shuo happily watched the spectacle unfold. She absolutely loved watching a story where lovers finally found their happy ending. 'The Eagle Beastman and the Kangaroo are a fun pair to ship,' she thought.
She felt like an excellent matchmaker and whispered in Xu Chi's ear, "Xu Chi, what other Beastmen do you think would be a good match for a Kangaroo? The food chain dynamic seems quite potent."
"Sea Eagles are formidable, but the Flying Beast Clan, especially raptors, tend to be loners. Hai Wei is powerful on his own, but he doesn't have any background to speak of."
Xu Chi considered it seriously. "Well, there are many Beastmen who like to eat rodents. Snakes, birds, cats, weasels, foxes..."
A look of realization dawned on Si Shuo. "No wonder I'm so fond of Mother Xia Ming. I'm a Cat Beast, and she's a mouse... Hai Wei is a Flying Beast, and having one or two of them in the family is plenty."
