Sweet Ring giggled too, rubbing her little head against Si Shuo's arm. "Mother is the best! My superpower is Curse." After saying this, Sweet Ring watched Si Shuo's expression carefully, afraid her Mother would find her power repulsive.
Si Shuo was surprised. She remembered how, before the floodwaters had receded, Sweet Ring had swept away those three half-grown Winged Dragon cubs with a tornado just by saying a few words. She couldn't help but exclaim, "That's so cool?"
Now it was Sweet Ring's turn to be stunned. "Mother, you're not scared? Don't you think this superpower is... malicious?"
