When she finished speaking, she bowed, her attitude perfectly sincere.
Applause broke out.
Jeanette Kensington straightened up and smiled at Caleb Bishop beside her. Seeing him staring blankly into the distance, she couldn't help but feel a surge of annoyance. However, with so many cameras pointed at them, she kept her smile fixed in place and reminded him, "Caleb, it's your turn to introduce yourself."
Caleb Bishop snapped out of his daze. For some reason, he wasn't in the mood for introductions. "...I'm Caleb Bishop."
Jeanette Kensington's smile cooled slightly, but she quickly smoothed things over. "My apologies, my fiancé takes a little while to warm up. He isn't used to the spotlight. The only other time he's been on a show was for a dating series with me back in Hansea. He always gets a little uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I hope you'll all be patient with him."
"Don't worry about it," Ruby Preston said. "He'll get used to it."
