Chelsea Raines let out a scream, her trembling finger pointing at the photo of House #5. "Th-this isn't a haunted house, is it? Why does it look so gloomy and sinister?!"
The children were more timid, and they all flinched in unison at her shriek.
Ian Shaw, however, didn't have much of a reaction, though a hint of annoyance flickered in his eyes as he looked at Chelsea Raines.
Ruby Preston frowned. "Alright, Chelsea. You can't keep acting so jumpy. We have kids with us, and they get scared easily."
Chelsea Raines muttered an apology, her expression still panicked. "You guys, look at this house! How could anyone live there!"
The photo showed that House #5's yard was completely dilapidated, with weeds nearly a meter high. The door, however, was red—a bright, garish red.
The contrast made it look horrifying and bizarre.
