The moment Chelsea Raines saw Renee Jennings's lunchbox, she was captivated and exclaimed in amazement, "This lunchbox is so exquisite, like a work of art."
A hint of pride flashed across Renee Jennings's face as she smiled and said, "Oh, you're exaggerating, Chelsea. I made this lunchbox myself. It did take quite a bit of effort, though."
As she spoke, she lifted the lunchbox and examined it. "It does look pretty decent."
Chelsea Raines glanced at the lunchbox in her own backpack. It was luxuriously crafted with a lavish color scheme, and its edges were even encrusted with a few small diamonds. For some reason, she now felt her own lunchbox was a bit tacky.
"Come, Mona, time for lunch," Renee Jennings said gently, handing the lunchbox to Nathan Lynch. "Mommy planned this meal especially for you. Quick, see if you like it."
Nathan Lynch slowly took the lunchbox and opened it with a CLICK.
