Chelsea Raines's eyes were drawn to Renee Jennings's lunch box the moment she saw it. She gasped in admiration, "That lunch box is absolutely exquisite! It's like a work of art."
A flash of pride crossed Renee Jennings's face. She smiled and said, "Oh, you're exaggerating, Chelsea. I made it myself. It did take quite a bit of effort, though."
As she spoke, she held up the lunch box and examined it. "It does look pretty decent."
Chelsea Raines glanced at the lunch box in her own backpack. It had a luxurious design and color scheme, with a few small diamonds embedded along the edges. For some reason, she now felt her own lunch box was a bit tacky.
"Here, Nathan, come have lunch. Mommy carefully planned this just for you. Come see if you like it," Renee Jennings said gently, handing the lunch box to Nathan Lynch.
Nathan Lynch took it slowly and opened the lunch box with a CLICK.
