Renee Jennings and Nathan Lynch were resting by the roadside for a bit when a friendly woman offered to give them a ride.
Renee Jennings glanced at the vegetable scraps and dirt clinging to the back of the woman's tricycle and declined. "We're almost there. Thank you, ma'am, but you should go on with your day."
She smiled politely, and after bidding them farewell, the woman left.
After a short rest, the color returned to Nathan Lynch's face, and Renee Jennings led him onward.
They finally reached the last house, but its exterior was nowhere near as stunning as Renee Jennings had imagined. It was utterly unremarkable.
'This is the best house the production team arranged for Naomi Kenway?' Renee Jennings frowned.
'Perhaps it's a whole different world inside?'
She tried to reassure herself.
Pulling Nathan Lynch to the front door, Renee Jennings finally remembered she had to use the magic phrase. She called it out, her voice filled with delight.
