Seventeen dragon
Junia's pov
The man walked further into the room, Lethen and Arisyn bowed when they noticed him. Which made me realize that he is the prince who Lethen is talking about.
He is beautiful.
Not in the way Ashmaris is.
Like elegantly beautiful.
The man walked further into the room, he had bright smile on his face.
"How are you?" He asked, his voice was soft and calm.
"I am—doing well" I almost choked on my words.
"I am prince Eldryss" he tells me his name, "May I know your name my lady?"
"Junia" I replied him. "Thank you for saving me, Lethen told me. I really appreciate."
"You are welcome" He said, "You are traveller, are you not?" Prince Eldryss asked.
"Yes, I am traveling through. I was told if I go through the forest from there I would be able journey to my destination." I responded sharply.
The prince and Lethen exchange a look, before the prince turned to me. "There is no way through the Umbravele forest. The person who sent you here, trick you in here knowing that you won't survive." Prince Eldryss revealed.
My eyes widened, I was shocked. I can't believe I was tricked by Ishkara.
How did I trust her in first place to help?
So she and her maid sent me here to die.
"I can see you are not aware of the Forest, the forest is our home and it doesn't like outsiders." Prince Eldryss continued.
That explained why the plants didn't answer to me.
"I will go now, rest well My lady. Tomorrow we should talk better." Prince Eldryss said, he turned and leave the chamber.
I was left soaring in my foolishness.
Lethen later left, she said she would return soon and left Arisyn with me. Who kept rambling unknown words to me Before dozing off on the floor.
Curious about where I am, I stand up this time my legs didn't fail me. I walked out of chamber and turned, the chamber was in a tree, tall large tree that is big in down part than it is on the upper part.
I glanced around, there's not no elves nearby, Only the the single strange tree among the other three.
Then I was tapped on the shoulder, I jumped when I wasn't expecting someone it was Lethen.
"Lethen" I placed my hand against my chest. "You just scare me, I didn't even hear you."
"That is because I used the vines for transportation, they moved silently." Lethen explained.
Moving vines crawl towards me, out of fear of what happened to me. I stepped away from them, they backed away dejectedly. Showing their dissatisfaction.
Lethen says something to the vines and in a blink of an eye they disappears. "Sorry about that, it just want to show you how I get hear, they get excited when talked about." She said.
"Oh" I rubbed my arm, I glanced down at myself. I haven't realize I was in my underwear until when I look so at myself.
The prince see me in my underwear, how embarrassing but due their own way of dressing my underwear was still decent.
"Let go in." I have gotten you some new clothes. "You will need to bath."
I followed Lethen into back into her hut, "I didn't see any other elves around" I said whenwe reached inside.
"That because I live far from the village," Lethen answered, she brought some clothes and give it to me.
"Why?"
"Because I am a healer, I have to leave near the herbs" Lethen responded.
"That makes sense."
"Arisyn will take you to the stream." Lethen said as she wake the child up.
"Stream?"
"Yes, why?"
"Don't you have tub or something."
"No, we don't. The stream will do better than tub, it will relax you" Lethen convinced.
Arisyn took me to stream which was clear water stream and it is warm. I quickly pulled of my clothes and slipped into the water as Arisyn waited for me in the bank.
As I swin I wonder if Ashmaris had known I have run away, He would for sure be looking for me. If I arrived back home before he does I will reach my kingdom, warn my father and we will be able to defeat him.
I removed my hands out of the water and glanced at the bracelet around my wrist. I am so stupid for forgetting about and what he did.
I will make sure to get revenge for what he did.

The next morning I was woke up by Lethen's cooking, Arisyn is curled up beside. She had dozed off rambling about things I don't understand, today I will take to prince Eldryss so he can help out of their forest.
After eating and bathing, I helped Lethen with a few things because it wanted to know when the prince will come to see me.
I waited patiently for the prince to come for the entire morning and he didn't come so I decided to ask Lethen who told me he might be busy or he will send some for me.
But I can't wait any longer I have to make that Ashmaris didn't reached my kingdom before I did.
So I asked her to tell Arisyn to take me, Lethen agreed and Arisyn was happy to take me into the village.
Me and Arisyn walked a long distance before we finally reached the village. I was tried already when we reached village, it was bustling and it is not a village it is literally like a city.
The elves were in different shades of skin color and they all beautiful. Some noticed that I wasn't an Elf as I walked by they stare at me, Some looked awed but they didn't come to me. Which I appreciate because of the language barrier.
We soon arrived at the palace and Arisyn told the guards why we are in the palace and we were taking to a garden. I and Arisyn sat on a stools placed around a table
Even though we do understand each other. Arisyn tried to communicating with me using gesture, Which was cute to watch.
The prince arrived few minutes later, He was in a more elegant attire than yesterday.
"Greetings to you ladies" He greeted as he walked towards us. "I apologized for delaying, I was attending some things."
"I am not annoyed and thank you for saving me, your highness." I said, I stand up before he reached us. Arisyn bowed to greeted the prince and he returned her greetings.
"You are welcome. Please let seat, I have to talk to you first because my father who like to met you" Prince Eldryss stated, we both return to the stools and seat down.
"Your highness, I know I have tresspass by coming into your forest but I do like you to show the way out of the forest. I need to head home." I said with a sweet smile on my face.
Prince Eldryss listened to me quietly before replying, "I can show the way home but the forest won't open now, it has been invaded by too many people. Dragons"
The instant he mentioned Dragon my heart dropped.
Ashmaris is here.
No. No.No.
"My father is quite angry, we haven't been disturb in a long time and our existence is unknown to the dragons" prince Eldryss said. "We don't usually let the people who come into our forest leave but My father is willing to let you go. I do like to know if you are been chase by the Dragons?"
"No. I haven't even met one before" I lied. If someone barely survive this forest than Ashmaris should be dead already.
At the thought of him being death I felt my heart ache.
"Alright, my lady. My father will ask some questions and you will have to reply truthfully" Prince Eldryss said, he stands up.
"I will" I promised but I can't help to ask about the dragons. "Prince Eldryss, what happened to the dragons? Are they dead."
Prince Eldryss turned, he hesitated before replying. "The forest already have them."
My heart dropped.
It felt like I was stabbed, why do I feel sad for a man I am supposed to kill. No I shouldn't feel pity for the man who destroy my life.
I stand up, blinking tears away.
"My father is waiting, shall we go now?" Prince Eldryss said, putting his hand out for Arisyn to take.
I swallowed hard, straightening my back. "Please lead the way."
Prince Eldryss took us into a large very large tree. I was awed when I got inside, it was beautiful decorated with flover and Vine and the throne sat a tall man with sliver hair.
He doesn't looked older than he is supposed to be, He looked like he is stuck in his youth
"Greetings your Majesty," I greeted, mimicking Prince Eldryss and Arisyn style of bowing.
Thankfully the King can speak my language.
"Greetings to you, Lady Junia and please have a seat" The King responded a smile on his face.
My eyes fell on a stools lined up against side way, so I sat on one of them and prince Eldryss and Arisyn do the same.
"Thank you Majesty, for your home receiptance even though I was invading." I said.
"You are welcome, my son already explained alot to me and that you were tricked into our forest" The king started.
"Yes, you Majesty." I replied honestly.
"Do you know why the dragons are in our forest,"
"I don't know a thing about them" I lied again, I just want to return home.
The king was silent for a while before speaking. "We will help you out of the forest when it opens back. You will return back to where you come from."
This is bad.
"Is there not any other way?" I asked.
"That is the only way to come out from the forest."
