Meanwhile…
The Continental Hotel, New York.
Winston watched as the Judge arrived, realizing his attempts to shift the blame had failed. Though disappointed, he readied himself for the coming battle.
The Judge approached him coldly."Have you decided on your successor?"
Winston stared at him, expression serious:"I refuse."
Over the past seven days, Winston had not been idle. He had gathered many assassins in New York—some who owed him favors, others bound by blood oaths. Only such people dared to rise against the High Table with him.
Hearing his refusal, the arbitrator spoke:"Very well. It's your decision."
He turned, pulled out his phone, and called the management office:"I want to modify a commission. Arbitrator 3C434A21, Continental Hotel, cease operations immediately."
Once the closure of the Continental was confirmed, the arbitrator hung up and addressed Winston:"Winston, our agency has ceased operations. You may now operate freely within the hotel. But since you refuse to step down, your life is forfeit. The High Table's agents will arrive shortly to remove you. Good night, Winston."
With that, the Judge turned and left, not even glancing at him.
Watching him go, Winston muttered to himself:"The safe haven is no longer safe."
He pulled out his phone and called Charon."The struggle against the High Table has begun."
After ending the call, he moved toward the hotel's armory and safe house.
A broadcast echoed through the Continental:"Ladies and gentlemen, the Continental Hotel is now closed and temporarily out of service. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please exit through the nearest available exit."
The Judge entered the hotel lounge and looked at Ling and his apprentices seated on the sofas."You may now bring your apprentices to work at the Continental."
Before leaving, he spoke briefly with Assassin Zero:"We will send some of our finest for additional support."
Zero laughed:"Excellent. Very good."
The Judge returned to his room, awaiting the verdict.
Soon, two armored buses arrived at the hotel entrance. Dozens of fully armed assassins, wearing specialized helmets and the latest armored suits, disembarked in tactical formation and entered the Continental.
The massacre had officially begun.
Meanwhile…
Assassin Alliance Headquarters – Textile Factory
Three armored buses approached the factory, immediately met with gunfire.
"Rat-a-tat-tat…" Bullets flew, but caused no damage. The buses were armored, and the windows were bulletproof.
The buses fired back, plowing through the factory gates.
"Prosperity!"
They drove straight into the factory and stopped. Doors opened, and fully armed assassins charged out, opening fire at designated points.
"Rat-a-tat… rat-a-tat…"
Kira, Kane, and the others donned bulletproof vests and helmets and jumped from the buses.
Mr. X, stationed on the roof, used specialized weapons and "bullet time" to accurately shoot the High Table's envoys in the neck and face. Few had any real defense.
Though High Table personnel were fully equipped, Mr. X's kills were still straightforward, though slower.
As casualties mounted, the High Table pushed the fight toward the textile factory, forcing Mr. X to adjust his positions.
Meanwhile…
Smith Doyle and the team followed the Elder and reached the enemy headquarters, deep in the desert on rare rocky terrain. The enemy base was underground—a location difficult to detect or assault.
Smith Doyle activated his combat power detector, which displayed the strength of everyone underground. Seeing that no one exceeded a power level of 5, he understood why the Elder favored John Wick so much.
He turned to Fox:"Notify everyone to engage."
Fox nodded and immediately called Cross and Gunsmith to inform them of the operation.
Cross and Gunsmith led their assassins in a direct assault on Camorra and Gramment.
Smith Doyle followed the Elder inside, sending Pool to assist his team and reduce casualties. Pool, though not as strong as Smith, was far above ordinary men.
"Kill!"
Under Smith Doyle's command, the Elders were targeted first.
Smith Doyle led the charge as if moving through void, bullets passing harmlessly around him. His "Wolf Fang Tempest Fist" was devastating—no one under the High Table could resist. The combat detector ensured no target could escape.
Wesley and Fox engaged dual-gun mode, unleashing relentless fire. John Wick was cold and merciless, shooting continuously unless achieving headshots.
News of the attacks spread quickly: Gramment and Camorra called for reinforcements as the base fell.
Smith Doyle cleared the entire base, leaving no survivors. His combat detector located everyone hiding.
Although Smith led from the front, some of his team suffered casualties. Quick reaction saved him from near injury by a grenade.
Out of his eight men—including John Wick—three were wounded and three killed. The three deaths were all due to grenades, not gunfire.
Surveying the cleared base, Smith Doyle said:"All the Elders have been wiped out. Retrieve our brothers' bodies and withdraw!"
This battle gave John Wick a firsthand view of Smith Doyle's strength, comparable to Captain America, and a direct understanding of the Assassin Alliance's power.
Meanwhile…
Following reports of three Elder attacks, the High Table immediately convened an emergency Elder meeting. Only nine of the twelve attended the online conference.
