Chapter 7 - #7 The Demise of the Thunder Warriors

During the Battle of Maurytan in the Unification Wars, the Emperor dispatched the Thunder Warriors Legion to eliminate the Maurytan Confederacy.

This campaign left a profound mark on history; the Emperor's valuation of the Maurytan Confederacy was evident, as he deployed the entire Thunder Warriors Legion in the war.

Reality proved the Emperor's vigilance was correct.

The ruler of Maurytan was a priest who had embraced Chaos, and the Maurytan Confederacy frequently performed Chaos rituals to please the Chaos Gods.

These rituals not only twisted their faith but also corrupted their souls, turning them into loyal believers of the power of Chaos.

In the midst of the fierce battle, the Thunder Warriors under the command of Primarch Ushotan fell into madness.

They witnessed the extraordinary fanaticism of the Chaos rituals, a fanaticism that spread through their hearts like a plague.

Captain-General Constantine Valdor began to worry about the future of the Thunder Warriors; their behavior was becoming increasingly difficult to control, internal factions were rampant, and warlordism was severe.

As time passed, the Thunder Warriors became even more uncontrollable.

The Emperor realized that to achieve the Great Resurgence of humanity, decisive measures had to be taken.

Thus, in the later stages of the war, the Emperor began working on creating a new generation of Genetic Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Thunder Warriors were gradually phased out by the Emperor.

Even if this event hadn't occurred, the demise of the Thunder Warriors seemed inevitable.

From the very beginning, it seemed the Emperor never considered a place for the Thunder Warriors after the war ended.

This was evident from the extremely unstable genes of the Thunder Warriors.

It was highly likely that a warrior who was mighty and strong, striking fear into enemies on the battlefield one moment, would die the next due to total organ failure.

Psychologically, they would become increasingly violent over time.

The Thunder Warriors were merely the Emperor's "tools," it's just that these tools were even more durable than the Emperor had imagined.

In the Super God World, Yan looked at the Thunder Warriors on the screen and sighed with emotion:

"Isn't this a bit too cruel? These soldiers have given so much, yet in the end, they are just tools to Him."

"But this Emperor's approach is very correct."

Keisha said, her voice revealing a sense of firmness and understanding.

"What?!" Yan looked at Queen Keisha in disbelief. As the founder of the Galactic Justice Order, why would Queen Keisha agree with the other party's methods?

"I know why you're surprised that I agree with His ideas."

Keisha sat in her chair, resting her hand against her face.

"If you view humanity as a whole, then what the Emperor wants to achieve is the Great Resurgence of humanity."

"Therefore, doing some necessary evil is absolutely required. From a rational standpoint, there is absolutely no problem with it."

Yan's face was still filled with confusion. "But He even treated His own army as tools!"

"It is necessary, Yan. Just as when I overthrew the Heavenly Palace Order to establish the Angel Order, I also gave up many things."

Keisha tilted her head, letting half of her face hide in the shadows.

"Even in our World, many choices require sacrificing something. Moreover, what about in that Universe?"

Yan remained silent. This was indeed the only way humanity could survive in that World.

"Then, if it were you, would you do the same?" Yan asked.

"Rational thinking is one thing, but emotional implementation is another."

Keisha laughed at herself.

Then, she looked at the Emperor on the screen, who was at the forefront of the battle, with admiration.

"That's why I admire Him for being able to use all of humanity as a tool without mercy."

The Imperium's large-scale records of the Thunder Warriors end with the Battle of Mount Ararat; the Imperium claimed the Thunder Warriors perished along with the enemy in this battle.

But the true history is that the Emperor sent His Custodians and the new Genetic Warriors, the Astartes, to eliminate them.

The sound of clashing weapons was incessant. In golden armor, the Emperor's Guards, like heavenly soldiers, blocked the way ahead.

Though the bronze giants attacked wildly in their madness, they were still gradually wiped out.

After the Unification Wars ended, Ushotan, the Primarch of the Fourth Legion of the Thunder Warriors, led the remaining Thunder Warriors in a rebellion against the Emperor they had previously sworn loyalty to.

Deep within the Imperial Palace, Ushotan used the weapon in his hand to continuously attack the golden enemy before him, who was as tall as himself.

Compared to the golden enemy in front of him, Ushotan was like a ragged beggar facing a magnificent guard.

But even with such a huge disparity in equipment, Ushotan still fought the enemy before him for a long time, relying on his skilled techniques and full-hearted rage.

As time passed, his strength gradually failed, and Ushotan was finally knocked down.

Facing the complete failure of the rebellion, Ushotan still held his head high and looked at his former comrade-in-arms, the Captain-General—Valdor.

"Look at you, you are just a tool of the Emperor," Ushotan's voice was full of mockery.

"Although I have a short lifespan, I am human. I can feel anger, I can think, I can be happy. And you?"

"You underwent genetic modification from the moment you were born; you are just a tool and cannot understand how I feel right now."

"It is because although Ushotan's life is very short, I still live as a human, while you have no humanity other than your duty."

"Then I am willing for it to be so."

Valdor agreed with Ushotan's assessment and then executed him to end the great warrior's suffering.

Of course, not all Thunder Warriors had perished; a small portion of them still lived around the Imperial Palace with the Emperor's tacit permission.

Marvel Universe

In the Marvel Universe, the heroes gathered in the conference room of the Avengers headquarters, the atmosphere heavy and tense.

On the screen, the images of those warriors in yellow armor were still replaying, their fighting style and power shocking everyone present.

The appearance of these warriors brought not only fear of the unknown but also reflection on their own power.

"Did you notice those warriors in yellow armor?"

Dr. Banner's voice broke the silence, his eyes revealing deep concern.

"Of course," Captain America Steve Rogers responded, his voice firm and powerful. "No one could ignore those warriors."

Nick Fury, the former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., also looked a bit tired at this moment.

He breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Compared to them, the Thunder Warriors are like mercenaries compared to a regular army."

"The Emperor put a lot of effort into them. But they aren't mass-produced, are they?"

This sentence caused everyone present to fall into deep thought.

There was no introduction to those yellow-armored warriors in the video, and they didn't have a definitive answer.

But a simple logic could provide the answer. If those yellow-armored warriors could be mass-produced...

Then why wouldn't the Emperor use them instead of using the unstable Thunder Warriors?

"This shows the Emperor is holding back his strength."

Black Widow Natalia Alianovna analyzed, "He might be waiting for the right moment, or these yellow-armored warriors have a special purpose."

"Or," Iron Man Tony Stark interjected, his voice tinged with mockery, "the Emperor is just enjoying the war itself, rather than simply pursuing victory."

The heroes turned their gaze back to the screen; the Emperor was strong, but he had currently lost the Thunder Warriors.

This gave everyone present a slight sense of comfort, but it also brought more questions.

"If the Emperor really launches a full-scale war, are we prepared to face those yellow-armored warriors?"

Spider-Man Peter Parker raised a key question, his voice carrying a hint of unease.

"We are always prepared to face challenges."

The Captain replied firmly, his eyes flashing with determination, "But we must understand our enemy better."

"We need more information," Dr. Banner added. "Only by understanding their weaknesses can we formulate an effective strategy."

"I agree," Black Widow nodded. "We need to send spies or find other ways to gather intelligence."

"This mission is dangerous," Iron Man reminded them. "But if we want to survive, we must take risks."

In the conference room, the heroes' gazes met; they knew the road ahead was full of unknowns and dangers.

But they also knew that as the Guardians of Earth, they had to bravely face every challenge.

"Then, let's get moving," Captain America stood up, his voice full of leadership. "We can't just sit and wait for death; we must take the initiative."
