Countless Great Shang citizens cheered, shouting, "You's Divine Might is unsurpassed!" Their adoration for You had reached an unimaginable level.
Then, when they saw a Buddha step out of the Heavenly Gate, ready to fight You, they felt strange.
For the citizens of Great Shang, they weren't really clear who the Jade Emperor was.
The current Heavenly Court held little prestige among the Human Clan, and few people offered sacrifices to the Jade Emperor, so naturally, no one knew his name.
But it was enough to know that the Jade Emperor was the Lord of the Heavenly Court, the Emperor of Buddhas, and the Supreme ruler of Immortals and Buddhas.
Countless Great Shang citizens couldn't help but start to worry again. That was the Emperor of Buddhas—could You win?
This was precisely why King Zhou wanted to fight the Jade Emperor. For the Human Clan, some perceptions absolutely had to be shattered.
Only when they realized that Buddhas were not omnipotent, and that Buddhas were not truly invincible, could the Human Clan truly straighten their backs.
With their backs straight, the Human Clan could truly stand up in this world, living with their heads held high and chests puffed out.
"King Zhou, You are but a mere Mortal, so audacious as to attempt to defy Heaven. This is a path to death!" the Jade Emperor, Haotian, said in a deep voice.
His rage was like a volcano about to erupt, no longer suppressible within his chest.
As the Jade Emperor, when had he ever been forced to such an extent by anyone? Moreover, by a mere Mortal?
If he couldn't suppress this arrogant King Zhou in front of everyone, how could he save face?
But seeing the Human Clan Luck, resplendent like a great sun, and the transformed Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon, a hint of apprehension still flashed in his eyes.
With such Human Clan Luck, and such a King Zhou, if they continued to exist, where would the Heavenly Court find its opportunity for great prosperity?
From this moment on, he would personally sever the Human Clan's hope. Ants were only fit to prostrate themselves before them.
"Jade Emperor, the truly arrogant one is You! Our Human Clan was born between Heaven and Earth, rising little by little from obscurity to reach this day.
Everything our Human Clan has was painstakingly achieved by generations of our own people. What does it have to do with You? Why do You need to point fingers?" King Zhou said.
It wasn't just the Heavenly Court; the top powerhouses in the world, relying on their immense strength, had never truly regarded the Human Clan.
In the eyes of the Buddhas, the Human Clan had always been mere pawns for their schemes of Luck.
What the Human Clan themselves truly thought, or what kind of life they desired, these Buddhas never cared.
For example, You, King Zhou, was destined to become a tyrannical ruler, and the Human Clan was destined for a change of dynasty, simply because of a single phrase: "Conferring Gods is set."
And in this dynastic change, how many innocent Human Clan members tragically died? No Buddhas cared at all.
Could Buddhas arbitrarily decide the future of the Human Clan for their own benefit? Could they even turn the Human Emperor into the Son of Heaven?
Had the Buddhas ever considered that the Human Clan also had its own fury, and that faced with an unjust fate, the Human Clan would also rise up in resistance?
The Buddhas thought they could control everything, that they could manipulate the Human Clan at will. If this isn't arrogance, what is it?
"Hmph! Ignorant ant, how much do You understand of the Way of Heaven? I shall make You see reality!" the Jade Emperor, Haotian, said in a deep voice.
"How much do You understand of the Way of the Human? You will also be made to recognize reality by You—from this day forth, the era has changed!"
Chapter 98: The Battle Watched by All, Human Emperor VS Jade Emperor!
Above the Nine Heavens, King Zhou stood with his feet on the Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon, a great sun appearing behind him, with Human Clan Luck stretching for a hundred thousand li.
Such a phenomenon was earth-shattering, astonishing anyone who witnessed it.
Indeed, all the powerhouses in the world were now focused on the Nine Heavens.
Today, King Zhou's Human Clan Conferring Gods, with Human Clan Luck stretching for a hundred thousand li, truly startled countless people.
Even the lofty, eternally unchanging Saints turned their gaze towards the current King Zhou.
Facing such a King Zhou, few could remain calm, but the Jade Emperor, Haotian, showed no inferiority.
The Jade Emperor, Haotian, clad in a dragon robe and wearing a golden crown, stood above the Nine Heavens, exuding a terrifying aura.
As an ancient mighty being who had cultivated for many years, he could not possibly have become the Jade Emperor without any ability.
In fact, in the current Heavenly Court, he was not only the strongest but also a Quasi-Saint.
Even setting aside his identity as the Jade Emperor, his cultivation alone allowed the Jade Emperor, Haotian, to stand above all others.
Throughout the entire world, a Quasi-Saint was a powerhouse second only to a Saint, standing at the pinnacle, capable of looking down upon all ages.
Moreover, as the Lord of the Heavenly Court, wielding the authority of the Heavenly Dao, he also had boundless Luck bestowed upon him.
Although the Heavenly Court's prestige was not yet prominent and had not yet flourished, its Luck naturally couldn't compare to the Human Clan's, but the Jade Emperor's authority was immense.
As the Jade Emperor, he was to command all Heavens, lead all Saints, rule the Universe, enlighten all Heavens, act according to the Way of Heaven, and spread the virtue of Heaven.
He created all things, saved all beings, balanced the Three Realms, commanded all spirits, saved countless people, and was the Supreme deity of the Heavenly Realm, the Emperor of all Heavens.
Within the Heavenly Dao, the Jade Emperor was meant to be the Lord of the Three Realms, governing all beings within them, his status and authority naturally extremely high.
Just as the Human Emperor, by gathering Human Clan Luck, could not be directly attacked by Saints, the Jade Emperor was essentially the same.
Even when facing a Saint, they were merely equals; the Jade Emperor would at most address a Saint as "Senior Brother."
Just like now, with the boundless Luck of the Heavenly Court bestowed upon him, the Jade Emperor, Haotian, also displayed boundless phenomena behind him, his Luck stretching for thirty thousand li.
"If You think that gathering Human Clan Luck will allow You to fight me, You will only suffer a terrible defeat!" the Jade Emperor, Haotian, said coldly.
He knew very well that he couldn't harm the Human Emperor protected by Human Clan Luck, which was why he had originally intended to back down.
But King Zhou, being relentless, dared to publicly challenge him, forcing him to step out of the Heavenly Gate alone.
He indeed couldn't injure this King Zhou, but making him humiliated and lose face was not difficult at all.
In this way, he should actually thank King Zhou, because this perfectly suited his intentions.
Today, his rage had reached its limit; in his long years, he had never been so furious.
Making King Zhou lose face would not only restore the Heavenly Court's dignity but also vent the anger in his heart, so why not?
"Make your move! I hope your ability is as formidable as your mouth!" King Zhou said disdainfully.
Even at this moment, in the eyes of the Jade Emperor, Haotian, he was probably still just a Mortal.
The Jade Emperor, Haotian, was only wary of the Human Clan Luck, not of him as a person, nor of his strength.
If he truly were just a Mortal, even with Human Clan Luck protecting him, he would likely suffer a terrible defeat.
But since he decided to fight the Jade Emperor, Haotian, he had naturally thought everything through, even if it meant exposing some of his secrets.
Because, in this battle, he had to win, and he couldn't afford to lose!
Winning would establish confidence for the Human Clan, break existing notions, and usher the Human Clan's development into a new era!
Losing would turn all his previous efforts into smoke, and he would likely find it difficult to recover in the future Conferring Gods.
As things stood, with the Human Clan Conferring Gods completed, he had already become a thorn in the side of the Buddhas.
Even exposing his cultivation now was not a big deal.
The Human Emperor could not attain immortality, and cultivation itself was a taboo—this was what Grand Tutor Wen had once said.
But compared to the Human Clan Conferring Gods, the Human Emperor's cultivation seemed somewhat insignificant.
Moreover, ever since he appeared above the Nine Heavens, with the abilities of those Saints, they had probably already discerned some clues.
"One who defies Heaven shall be executed! I, who command the Heavenly Court and uphold the Heavenly Dao, sentence You to divine punishment!"
The Jade Emperor, Haotian's voice was chilling, filled with endless rage, as if the Supreme Buddha was enraged.
In an instant, lightning surged in the void, and a boundless sea of thunder appeared, interwoven with lightning, descending from the Nine Heavens.
Seeing this, cultivators were all terrified; they were not unfamiliar with this scene above the Nine Heavens.
This was the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning recorded in ancient texts, usually only attracting cultivators burdened with Karma.
The Nine Heavens Divine Lightning was terrifyingly boundless; even Golden Immortals would pale at its sight.
And now, with just a thought, the Jade Emperor, Haotian, caused the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning to descend, punishing King Zhou, this heinous sinner.
"The Jade Emperor wields the authority of the Heavenly Dao and can, to a certain extent, make his words law, unlike ordinary Quasi-Saints!" Saint Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning said.
In the Heavenly Court, all Buddhas were enfeoffed by the Jade Emperor, and these Buddhas all controlled a portion of the Heavenly Dao's authority.
For example, the Thunder God commanded the power of lightning, the Star Lord commanded the power of stars, the Mountain God commanded the power of mountains, and so on.
These abilities were actually the authority granted to Buddhas by the Heavenly Dao, and they also represented the legitimacy of the Heavenly Court.
And the Jade Emperor, as the Lord of the Heavenly Court, not only wielded greater Heavenly Dao authority but could also freely use the abilities of any other Buddha.
Whether it was the Thunder God's or the Mountain God's, as long as the Jade Emperor wished, he could use that portion of authority at any time.
"You do not represent the Heavenly Dao, nor are You qualified to condemn You!" King Zhou said coldly.
As he spoke, he threw a punch, without any fancy moves, just a simple, straightforward punch.
But with that simple punch, Human Clan Luck condensed, forming a Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon that charged straight upwards, meeting the boundless thunder.
"Boom!"
The Nine Heavens Divine Lightning shattered before it even descended. The Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon continued its momentum, charging straight towards the boundless sea of thunder.
Amidst the "boom" of colossal roars, the boundless sea of thunder exploded, and the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning, which had caused countless cultivators to blanch, thus vanished into nothingness.
"Human Clan Luck is indeed powerful; it truly makes one apprehensive!" Saint Zhunti said in a deep voice.
The Nine Heavens Divine Lightning was no ordinary means; it condensed the authority of the Heavenly Dao, and cultivators had no other option but to endure it.
However, King Zhou's single strike not only blocked the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning but also caused it to dissipate from its source.
Such a method was indeed shocking, but he could tell that this was not King Zhou's own strength.
It was the power of Human Clan Luck, which forcefully shattered the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning and dispersed the Heavenly Dao authority.
"King Zhou himself is not simple; he is also a cultivator, and his cultivation is not low!" Sage Jieyin said.
Amateurs watch the excitement, while experts discern the essence. Just the first exchange revealed a lot.
As Sages, all things in the world were within their grasp, and very little could be hidden from them.
The Heavenly Dao authority wielded by Jade Emperor Haotian, the Human Clan Luck condensed by King Zhou, and his own strength—
All of this, they could discern its profound mysteries with just a glance.
"How can a mayfly shaking a tree or an ant looking up at the sky comprehend the vastness of heaven and earth?" Jade Emperor Haotian said coldly.
The Nine Heavens Divine Lightning was just the beginning. Even if King Zhou shattered it with a punch, he didn't care in the slightest.
Whether it was the terrifying, legendary lightning punishment, or the mythical heavenly fire, or even the weak water from the Nine Netherworlds.
With a single thought, winds and clouds gathered across the sky, and various legendary techniques were conjured by him effortlessly.
Embodying the Heavenly Dao authority, the Jade Emperor was that overbearing. Methods unimaginable to ordinary cultivators were, to him, merely a flick of the finger.
Such a Jade Emperor Haotian was undoubtedly extremely terrifying. Apart from Sages, no one could remain unmoved.
"Though an ant is small, it has the ambition of a swan! A hundred years of life, it also has an unyielding heart!" King Zhou said.
Compared to a quasi-Sage like Jade Emperor Haotian, his Red Dust Immortal level cultivation was undoubtedly insignificant.
Even in terms of divine abilities and techniques, he could not compare to Jade Emperor Haotian, who wielded the Heavenly Dao authority.
However, having condensed Human Clan Luck, he was already invulnerable to all evil. No matter what method was used, it was difficult to harm him in the slightest.
The only thing he needed to do was to counter Jade Emperor Haotian and, in turn, suppress the Jade Emperor.
Jade Emperor Haotian was right; Human Clan Luck could only protect him; it was indeed not omnipotent.
If it were an ordinary cultivator, merely attacking him would incur the backlash of Human Clan Luck.
But Jade Emperor Haotian had the Heavenly Court's Luck protecting him, and even after attacking him, he was not affected by the backlash of Human Clan Luck at all.
Of course, if he were to cause him fatal harm, Jade Emperor Haotian would also be in deep trouble.
Therefore, from beginning to end, Jade Emperor Haotian's goal was only to suppress him and make him lose face.
He actually didn't have a very good way to utilize Human Clan Luck, nor any particular techniques.
But in the state where heaven and earth were in accord, these things no longer mattered; he could simply go all out.
Because after the Human Clan Conferring Gods, he had already taken control of the heaven and earth within the Great Shang territory, transforming it into his own domain.
Within the domain, he was invincible. Whether there were techniques or not was no longer so important.
Just like now, no matter how many divine abilities or techniques Jade Emperor Haotian possessed, he remained as still as a mountain, breaking them with a single punch.
To outsiders, this was undoubtedly an evenly matched battle; neither the Jade Emperor nor King Zhou could do anything to the other.
The Jade Emperor's power exceeded many people's expectations, and King Zhou's power was equally surprising.
In fact, it is no exaggeration to say that this was a battle beyond the quasi-Sage level, reaching a divine and miraculous realm.
And for the people of Great Shang, this was undoubtedly an extremely shocking sight, something they had never even imagined.
Seeing their King fighting the Emperor of Gods in the Nine Heavens, every movement was grand and powerful.
So the King was so powerful! Even the Emperor of Gods was nothing special!
This was the common thought of the Great Shang people. Looking at their King, who was like a god, they could only cheer with joy.
Many people couldn't help but wonder, with such a King, why should they fear or even worship gods?
Unknowingly, King Zhou's prestige in Great Shang had reached its peak, becoming an object of reverence for countless people.
"You have some methods, but You are ultimately a Mortal, forever ignorant of the profound truth of the Great Dao!" Jade Emperor Haotian said.
King Zhou's strength indeed exceeded his expectations. He had thought that by wielding the Heavenly Dao authority, he could easily suppress King Zhou.
He hadn't expected that the Human Clan Luck condensed by King Zhou could be so powerful, rendering all his various methods ineffective.
If he couldn't suppress King Zhou for a long time, he would inevitably lose face, so he decided not to continue entanglement with King Zhou.
With a wave of his hand, a seven-story glazed pagoda appeared above his head, casting down billions of divine rays.
At the same time, a mirror also appeared in his hand, with Dao patterns flowing on it, emitting a supreme aura.
He pointed his finger, and the seven-story glazed pagoda, carrying immense power, suppressed down from the Nine Heavens.
He pointed again, and the mirror in his hand shot out billions of divine lights, sealing off all the space around King Zhou.
Even at this moment, he was very measured in his actions. The divine light only sealed King Zhou's range of movement.
The seven-story glazed pagoda was the true killing blow, descending from above, condensing vast power to suppress King Zhou.
In his view, King Zhou had no more chances. Once suppressed, he would be unable to move an inch.
A motionless King Zhou would be at his mercy. He had ten thousand ways to make King Zhou lose face.
"Innate Spiritual Treasure? Do You think You can suppress You by relying on the power of magical treasures?" King Zhou said.
He had not failed to see Innate Spiritual Treasures. Jiang Ziya's E Ji Apricot Yellow Flag was an Innate Spiritual Treasure, and a Supreme Grade Houtian Spiritual Treasure at that.
Innate Spiritual Treasures possessed infinite power. Once unleashed, they could double the wielder's strength and instantly secure victory.
At this moment, Jade Emperor Haotian, unable to break through, brought out Innate Spiritual Treasures, and two at once.
One Innate Spiritual Treasure was already rare in the world; bringing out two at the same time showed that Jade Emperor Haotian had clearly gone all out.
"You also know about Innate Spiritual Treasures? You have some insight, but it's too late!" Jade Emperor Haotian said.
The two items he brought out were indeed Innate Spiritual Treasures, each with infinite wondrous uses, truly his trump cards.
The Innate Spiritual Treasure Haotian Tower possessed vast and boundless power, capable of subduing all demons and Evil Paths, and sealing all heavens.
The Innate Spiritual Treasure Haotian Mirror possessed the subtle ability to discern every detail, and the power to perceive all heavens, with infinite wondrous uses.
Under the suppression of these two Innate Spiritual Treasures, even a quasi-Sage could only surrender obediently.
No matter how great King Zhou's abilities were, he would still be suppressed in front of these two Innate Spiritual Treasures.
"What about Innate Spiritual Treasures? Today, You shall forge a supreme treasure with the fire of Human Clan heritage!"
As King Zhou's roar echoed, the vast Human Clan Luck, spanning a hundred thousand miles, instantly transformed into an boundless sea of fire.
The fire was the fire of Human Clan heritage, the unextinguishable fire passed down through generations of the Human Clan since Human Ancestor Suiren discovered fire by drilling wood.
From the great sun behind him, a phoenix cry suddenly resounded. The Xuanbird emerged from the flames, sweeping across the sky-filled sea of fire.
At this moment, he forged a supreme treasure with the fire of Human Clan Luck, striking the heavens with the image of the Xuanbird.
"Boom!"
Vast fluctuations swept across the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, making countless people dizzy and gasp in cold air.
And in the Nine Heavens, the fire of Human Clan Luck burned fiercely, already engulfing everything.
Chapter 99: Battle Between Heaven and Man, Evenly Matched!
Under the gaze of all, the battle between the Jade Emperor and King Zhou unfolded in the Nine Heavens, its intensity far exceeding countless people's imaginations.
Moreover, after the initial probing, the Jade Emperor directly brought out two Innate Spiritual Treasures.
With two great Innate Spiritual Treasures in hand, Jade Emperor Haotian's strength surged, immediately displaying terrifying power.
Undoubtedly, Jade Emperor Haotian's strength already surpassed that of ordinary quasi-Sages, probably second only to Sages.
Could King Zhou truly withstand such a Jade Emperor?
"Master will definitely win; he will not lose!" Nezha looked up at the Nine Heavens and said firmly.
The Jade Emperor unleashed a peerless strike with two great Innate Spiritual Treasures, and even from Chaoge, he could feel that terrifying aura.
At the last moment, he saw his Master condense the fire of Human Clan Luck, also unleashing a peerless strike.
Now, the Nine Heavens were covered by the fire of Human Clan Luck, and he couldn't see the situation inside, so he naturally didn't know who won or lost.
But he firmly believed that his Master would not lose, even when facing the Lord of the Heavenly Court, the Jade Emperor.
"The King is a bit reckless. This battle is not necessary, nor should it have erupted at this time!" Grand Tutor Wen said with a solemn expression, sighing.
He could guess one or two reasons why the King insisted on fighting the Jade Emperor, but he didn't quite agree.
In his opinion, the King was trying to get rich quickly, which was a bit too eager for success.
Although the King had Human Clan Luck protecting him, it was only for protection; it wasn't like he could wield Human Clan Luck as easily as his own arm.
Let alone the King, even the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors of yesteryear had not reached such an exaggerated level.
The King had already successfully completed the Human Clan Conferring Gods, possessing the Human Clan Luck as brilliant as the great sun, and thus had no fear of the Gods and Buddhas in the Sky.
At this time, biding one's time was the wisest choice, because Great Shang still had great room for development.
He was very clear that as the three-year plan continued to be completed, Great Shang's development had exceeded everyone's imagination.
As long as Great Shang became stronger, Human Clan Luck would also become more prosperous, and their confidence would be even greater.
However, if You were to lose this battle, the situation that You had so painstakingly achieved would be lost in an instant.
But, despite these worries, at this very moment, all he could do was trust You.
"You must have Your reasons for doing this. I believe You will surely achieve a resounding victory!" Bi Gan said.
From his understanding of You, You had always planned before acting, and would not be swayed by personal emotions.
Because of this, he believed that since You chose to fight the Jade Emperor, You must have a certain degree of confidence.
Even if that was the legendary Lord of the Heavenly Court, the Jade Emperor who commanded all gods, he still believed You could win.
"Who won in the end? Did the Jade Emperor win? Or did King Zhou win?"
At this moment, this was the common thought of countless people. They craned their necks, their gazes fixed on the Nine Heavens.
This battle was simply too important; no matter who won or lost, it would be a far-reaching major event, even determining the future trend of the world.
Under the gaze of all, the Human Clan Luck fire in the Nine Heavens slowly dissipated, first revealing a figure.
Wearing a dragon robe and a Nine-Dragon Crown, standing tall in the Nine Heavens, who else could it be but the Jade Emperor Haotian.
Did the Jade Emperor Haotian win? Did this Lord of the Heavenly Court ultimately possess superior skill and defeat King Zhou?
No! Soon, someone noticed that the Jade Emperor Haotian's expression was incredibly grim, utterly unlike that of a victor.
Indeed, in the next moment, another figure appeared in the Nine Heavens, it was King Zhou, stepping on a Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon.
Behind King Zhou, a great sun still emerged, and the Human Clan Luck surged for a hundred thousand miles.
Many people knew that with the Human Clan Luck protecting him, even if King Zhou lost, the Jade Emperor would find it difficult to harm King Zhou in the slightest.
But in the minds of many, since the Jade Emperor had already brought out two Innate Spiritual Treasures, he should surely be able to suppress King Zhou.
As long as King Zhou could be suppressed, he would be humiliated and lose all face before the Great Shang people.
At that time, King Zhou would lose all popular support, and even if the Human Clan Luck remained prosperous, King Zhou would no longer be a concern.
But looking at King Zhou's appearance at this moment, there was no sign of him being suppressed; he was still as domineering as ever.
The battle between the Jade Emperor Haotian and King Zhou not only failed to suppress King Zhou but instead boosted King Zhou's prestige?
Such a result was utterly unacceptable to countless people, leaving many with stunned expressions.
"King Zhou, by condensing the Human Clan Luck, can he really be this strong? Who can possibly contend with him now?" Guang Chengzi said.
The Deification Ceremony was set, and King Zhou was destined to be their Chan Sect's great enemy; the conflict between the two sides could simply not be resolved.
King Zhou being so powerful after condensing the Human Clan Luck was naturally terrible news for their Chan Sect.
How exactly were they to deal with King Zhou to ensure the smooth progress of the Deification Ceremony?
Indeed, it was no exaggeration to say that facing such a King Zhou, these Chan Sect Disciples probably wouldn't even dare to appear within Great Shang territory.
"Human Clan Luck is not omnipotent. King Zhou's current strength is actually because he is fighting against Haotian!" The Sage Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning said.
He couldn't help but sigh inwardly, seeing the fear on the faces of many Chan Sect disciples—something that had never happened before.
Let alone a mere King Zhou, even the former Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors had never made the Chan Sect Disciples afraid.
With such a mindset, if their Chan Sect were to lead the Deification Ceremony, it would most likely end in certain defeat.
"May I ask, Master, what does this have to do with the Jade Emperor?" Immortal Weng of the South Pole asked at an opportune moment.
He had always accompanied the Sage, and naturally, he was very clear about his Master's thoughts.
Speaking at this moment, allowing his Master to reveal the inside story of this battle, would alleviate the suppressed emotions in the hearts of the Chan Sect Disciples.
"Haotian embodies the Heavenly Dao, condenses the Luck of the Heavenly Court, and represents the will of Heaven, while King Zhou condenses the Human Clan Luck and represents the will of humanity.
It appears to be a battle between King Zhou and Haotian, but in reality, it is a battle between Heaven and Man, which is why the Human Clan Luck was spontaneously activated!" The Sage Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning said.
The conflict between Heaven and Man is not a simple matter, involving deeper layers that are not convenient to explain in detail here.
King Zhou's immense power was mostly due to the activation of the Human Dao's will, which spontaneously contended with the Heavenly Dao's will.
There was no need for King Zhou to specifically control the Human Clan Luck; the Human Clan Luck would automatically retaliate.
Therefore, this battle was so intense, even surpassing the limits that a quasi-Saint could achieve.
Of course, he did not explicitly state some things; even without the conflict between Heaven and Man, King Zhou was already terrifying enough.
Within the territory of Great Shang, where the Human Clan Luck converged, none of his Disciples could contend with King Zhou.
"So that's how it is! Master once said that Human Clan Luck is not omnipotent, and there is still a way to deal with King Zhou!" Guang Chengzi quickly said.
As Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning's most beloved Disciple, he quickly grasped his Master's meaning.
At this moment, they absolutely could not be intimidated by King Zhou; they had to give the Chan Sect Disciples some confidence.
Indeed, hearing this exchange, the expressions of the Chan Sect Disciples improved considerably, and their complexions were not as grim as before.
As for the people of Great Shang, they naturally did not understand such complex matters; they only knew what they saw at this moment.
They saw that You, in the Nine Heavens, fought against the Emperor of all gods, not falling behind in the slightest, and even having a more imposing Aura.
Cheers and screams immediately erupted throughout Great Shang, and smiles appeared on the faces of countless Great Shang people.
"You are actually so powerful? With You here, what is there to fear from the gods?"
"That's right! Your Divine Might is unparalleled, unrivaled in the world; even the Emperor of all gods will soon become Your defeated foe!"
"Unbelievable! You are not only wise and mighty, but also possess such divine power, truly comparable to the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors!"
...
In the hearts of countless Great Shang people, the emotion of fear had completely dissipated, leaving only adoration for You.
With the completion of the first Three-Year Plan, and having experienced the personal expedition and the slaying of gods, in the hearts of the Great Shang people, You had long been an image of wisdom and might.
Adding this scene today directly pushed King Zhou's prestige among the Great Shang people to its peak.
He who wins the hearts of the people wins the world! And in today's Great Shang, the one who won the hearts of the people was undoubtedly King Zhou.
After today, within Great Shang, it would probably be impossible for any Marquis to rebel again.
After all, with King Zhou's current prestige, even if a Marquis dared to rebel, no one would dare to follow them.
"King Zhou, cherish these next few years well, your time is running out!" The Jade Emperor Haotian said in a deep voice.
As soon as his voice fell, to the astonished gazes of countless people, the Jade Emperor Haotian turned and left, stepping into the Heavenly Gate.
The Jade Emperor Haotian just left like that? The outcome was clearly undecided, so why did he depart at this moment?
Could it be that in the previous exchange, the Jade Emperor Haotian had already suffered serious injuries, and thus had no choice but to leave?
"What my future holds, You do not decide, nor can You determine anything!" King Zhou said loudly.
He naturally knew what the Jade Emperor Haotian's words just now meant; they were referring to the Deification Ceremony.
According to the predetermined destiny, he, King Zhou, would reign for thirty-five years and eventually become the ruler of a fallen nation.
The phrase "his time is running out" referred to the fact that he still had over twenty years left.
The Deification Ceremony was set, the Zhou was destined to rise, and the campaign to overthrow the Great Shang was the fated destiny!
Why did the Jade Emperor Haotian leave when the outcome was undecided?
Was it not because even after bringing out two Innate Spiritual Treasures, he still couldn't do anything to him, and the Jade Emperor Haotian didn't want to be his stepping stone anymore?
After all, even if the battle continued, the Jade Emperor Haotian still couldn't do anything to him.
A evenly matched duel, in the eyes of the Great Shang people, would only boost his prestige and diminish the authority of the Heavenly Court.
In any case, from the Jade Emperor Haotian's perspective, even though he was arrogant, domineering, and incredibly powerful now, his time was already running out.
Therefore, even if the Jade Emperor Haotian lost all face, he had to swallow his pride for a moment and leave at this time.
But what the Jade Emperor Haotian didn't know was that he already knew about the Deification Ceremony, and even its details were perfectly clear to him.
Since he had come to this world and become King Zhou, he was destined to have no choice.
Either perish, or break the predetermined destiny and create an era belonging to the Human Clan!
Chapter 100: Five Years, the Dao is Complete!
"It's almost time. Everything is ready, and I should take that step now!"
In the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall, King Zhou slowly opened his eyes, and his powerful Aura slowly receded.
It had been a full five years since the Human Clan Conferring Gods and his battle with the Jade Emperor Haotian.
In that battle, under the gaze of countless people, he and the Jade Emperor Haotian were evenly matched, forcing the Jade Emperor Haotian to return to the Heavenly Gate.
Since that battle, his prestige within Great Shang had reached its peak, making him an unparalleled enlightened ruler praised by countless people.
Because of this, the implementation of the second Three-Year Development Plan proceeded very smoothly; no one dared to obstruct it, nor did anyone dare to feign compliance.
And the Human Clan Conferring Gods also demonstrated its immense effect in the second Three-Year Development Plan, allowing the development of Great Shang to enter a new stage.
The mountain gods, water gods, and earth gods within Great Shang were all enfeoffed by him, and naturally subject to his control.
Coupled with his battle against the Jade Emperor Haotian, countless people witnessed his power firsthand, so naturally, no deity dared to act recklessly.
The enfeoffed deities began to diligently perform their duties, providing assistance to the development of Great Shang.
As he had envisioned, with the help of the deities, the development of Great Shang could only be described as progressing by leaps and bounds.
the people of Great Shang are far better off than before.
It cannot be said to be perfect, as everything is just beginning, and even if it's on the right track, it still needs time.
For example, if the common people were illiterate, the imperial examination system would naturally become a joke.
Enlightening the populace is a long-term process that cannot be solved by one or two Three-Year Development Plans.
But overall, things are developing in a good direction; most of the common people are already well-fed and clothed, and even have surplus to pursue a better life.
Moreover, after the successful completion of the second Three-Year Development Plan, Great Shang is now implementing its first Five-Year Plan.
According to his arrangements, during the first Five-Year Plan, Great Shang's development will enter a new stage.
Various systems are continuously being improved, the people of Great Shang are becoming increasingly prosperous, and cultivation is quietly gaining popularity.
In fact, the battle between him and Jade Emperor Haotian had too great an impact; countless people witnessed the earth-shattering scene and couldn't help but yearn for it.
If he, the Great King, could be so powerful, then ordinary people, if given the opportunity to Cultivate, might also become powerful.
Perhaps, in the eyes of many ministers, it might not be a good thing if the people of Great Shang began to Cultivate.
No matter what kind of being, once they possess great power, they will not be content to be subservient, making them difficult to manage.
Furthermore, because they possess great power, their destructive potential will also be higher, and a single mistake could lead to a great disaster.
However, he did not deliberately suppress this matter; instead, he deliberately guided it, allowing the cultivation methods of the five great Secret Realms of the human body to spread throughout Great Shang.
If he only wanted to be an emperor in the Mortal World, deliberately suppressing Human Clan cultivation would actually be a wise move.
But clearly, his goal was never to be an emperor in the Mortal World, nor to become a wise ruler.
The Human Clan Conferring Gods is imminent; to not advance is to die. Not only must he resist, but the entire Human Clan should also resist.
Why have the Gods and Buddhas in the Sky never truly regarded the Human Clan?
Is it not because the Human Clan is born weak, and in the eyes of the Gods and Buddhas in the Sky, they are merely ants?
How could the high and mighty Buddhas care what ants think or what their demands are?
Since that is the case, he must not only possess great power himself but also enable the Human Clan to possess great power.
Once the Human Clan possesses power that even the Buddhas fear, will the Gods and Buddhas in the Sky still dare to ignore the Human Clan?
Of course, this matter is also not an overnight success; to achieve results, it will take at least hundreds, or even thousands, of years.
However, to say that Great Shang is currently in a prosperous age is absolutely correct, and it is a prosperous age that has never been seen before.
Under this prosperous age, Great Shang is naturally incredibly flourishing, and Human Clan Luck is consequently increasing continuously.
After the battle with Jade Emperor Haotian, due to the transformation of Human Clan Luck, he had already obtained an opportunity to draw from the All Heavens Treasures.
And after five years of development, the qi luck torch has shown signs of transformation, one could even say it's ready to transform.
The reason it hasn't transformed yet, according to his guess, should be related to his prolonged inability to break through.
As long as he can establish his Dao with his body and step into the Immortal King Realm, the qi luck torch will likely transform immediately.
At that time, opening the fourth level of the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall and receiving the inheritance of a new Human Emperor will be a matter of course.
During Great Shang's development, a large number of talents emerged, making outstanding contributions to Great Shang's progress.
He also, in accordance with his previous promise, enfeoffed these individuals as new deities, which further perfected the divine system within Great Shang's territory.
The Perfection of the divine system also meant that his control over Great Shang was stronger, and the domain he constructed was also more complete.
Within the entire territory of Great Shang, every mountain and river, every city and land, and even every blade of grass and tree, were already under his control.
Coupled with the ability of 'Heaven and Earth working in concert,' within Great Shang's territory, his will was the absolute rule.
Moment by moment, he was comprehending the profundities of mountains and rivers, understanding the vastness of heaven and earth, and gathering creation within himself.
Thus, the Foundation for establishing his Dao with his body had become unshakable, and naturally, it was time for him to break through.
In fact, after the Human Clan Conferring Gods, he could have established his Dao with his body, without having to wait five years.
But these five years of waiting were by no means in vain; for him, they would have profound significance.
At that time, his insistence on the Human Clan Conferring Gods was not merely for the development of the Human Clan, but also for his own Dao.
Transforming the entire territory of Great Shang into his own domain, and making the divine system the nodes for controlling his domain.
Thus, when he established his Dao with his body, what he established was not just his own Dao, but also the Dao of Great Shang, and the Dao of the Human Clan.
Establishing his Dao with his body, with the three Daos as one, Great Shang was him, and he was Great Shang, with no distinction between the two.
This was a supreme Foundation; theoretically, once the Foundation was laid, his future cultivation would be smooth sailing.
Logically, to continue progressing in the Immortal King Realm, one would inevitably have to spend a long time.
Tens of thousands of years, or even hundreds of thousands of years, are actually normal.
But he forged a supreme Foundation, coupled with the aid of the qi luck torch, allowing him to progress even faster in the Immortal King Realm.
Therefore, even though it took a full five years, he accepted it with equanimity.
From then on, within the territory of Great Shang, he was essentially an invincible existence; even if a Saint personally intervened, he could contend with them.
Of course, all of this was predicated on the Human Clan Luck being prosperous; if Great Shang were to perish, he, the Human Emperor, would become a mere figurehead.
But precisely because of this, he had to do it this way; only by being invincible within Great Shang's territory could he cope with the inevitable upheaval of the future.
After spending a full five years, everything was ready; establishing his Dao with his body in this manner was destined to be an earth-shattering event.
Speaking of which, since his battle with Jade Emperor Haotian five years ago, all parties have fallen silent, with no further movement.
The Chan Sect was silent; Jiang Ziya never reappeared after returning to Kunlun Mountain, which was within his expectations.
However, Shen Gongbao, during these five years, diligently helped him win over many cultivators of considerable strength.
The rapid establishment and Perfection of the divine system within Great Shang's territory actually owed much to Shen Gongbao.
After all, conferring deities was not done arbitrarily; conferring a Mortal and conferring a cultivator were two different concepts.
Heavenly Court also showed no movement, as if after that battle, Jade Emperor Haotian had completely resigned himself to fate.
But he knew very well that neither Jade Emperor Haotian nor the Chan Sect could remain silent forever.
Their current silence was merely a period of dormancy; at some point, they would still emerge.
If he wasn't mistaken, what the Chan Sect and Heavenly Court were waiting for was the time when the Human Clan Conferring Gods would begin.
The Conferring Gods is set, Zhou is destined to rise, Zhou will attack Shang, and Heaven will confer Gods!
This was spoken personally by a Saint, it is the true word of the Great Dao, the rule of the Heavenly Dao's operation, and it is destined to happen.
For him, this was the real test: whether he could defy fate still depended on going through the Conferring Gods.
However, the silence of Heavenly Court and the Chan Sect was not surprising; what surprised him was that Nüwa also showed no movement at all.
He had, after all, once blasphemed Nüwa, a Saint, so it was only right for Nüwa to punish him.
Moreover, he had personally slain the Xuanyuan Tomb Three Demons, which was equivalent to slapping Nüwa in the face.
Even if it was just for the Saint's dignity, Nüwa could not possibly let him go and would surely strike at him again.
But strangely, a full five years had passed, yet he had not discovered any abnormalities.
Did Nüwa know that ordinary methods couldn't deal with him, so she could only temporarily give up?
When he became the monarch of a fallen kingdom during the Conferring Gods, Nüwa could indeed manipulate him however she wished.
But after careful consideration, he felt that this possibility was not great.
If that were truly the case, Nüwa would not have sent the Xuanyuan Tomb Three Demons to bewitch him, or even personally intervened.
Moreover, in his opinion, Nüwa, this Saint, was quite petty; how could she let him off so easily?
Could it be that Nüwa had already made a move, but he had simply not discovered it?
This possibility cannot be ruled out; Nüwa had failed a few times, so she couldn't be unaware of his methods.
After all, she was a Saint; if she truly exerted her full power, her methods would be Heaven-Defying, and making him unaware of any abnormality would not be difficult.
Since he couldn't discover it, he temporarily didn't want to bother with it; anyway, no matter what method, it would eventually come knocking on his door.
What was most important to him now was actually to break through as quickly as possible; as long as he was strong enough, he would fear nothing.
With a thought, all regions within Great Shang's territory were in his mind, and the power of heaven and earth converged upon his single body.
Dao principles permeated his entire being; that was his Dao, which was originally still gestating, but now was about to break through its shell.
Establishing his Dao with his body, gathering the creation of heaven and earth within himself, at this moment, his Dao was complete!
Chapter 101: Establishing the Dao with the Body, Breaking into the Immortal King Realm!
Five years ago, King Zhou had actually reached the pinnacle of Immortality, the limit of the Red Dust Immortal realm, unprecedented by those before him and unmatched by those to come.
Even in the Conferring Gods world, in the Heavenly Immortal Realm, which is equivalent to the Red Dust Immortal, he felt confident that he would have no opponents.
Indeed, with the cultivation of a Heavenly Immortal, it was not impossible to defeat a Profound Immortal.
This was not only because he personally conducted the Human Clan Conferring Gods and established the divine system within Great Shang's territory.
In the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall, he also continuously tempered himself, from body to spirit, without a single flaw.
After all, in the Great Emperor Arena, his opponents were the most top-tier Human Emperors from all the heavens and myriad realms
By constantly fighting against these Human Emperors, every minute and every second was progress, naturally allowing him to continuously perfect himself.
Looking back, he was no longer barely able to sustain himself in the Great Emperor Arena, but was capable of defeating a true Human Emperor.
He had reached a point where no further progress was visible, and with the complete perfection of the divine system within Great Shang, it was time for him to break through.
Having reached this step, the Domain evolution path became increasingly brilliant in his eyes, and he even had a sense of great enlightenment.
"Since ancient times, for my Human Clan to Cultivate, they have always aimed for Immortals and Buddhas, cultivating the methods of Immortals and Buddhas, and achieving the path of Immortals and Buddhas.
From this point on, the path of the Human Clan shall be pioneered by me. The place where I stand shall be where Laws and order are reborn, establishing the Dao with my own body!"
Since ancient times, the Human Clan was born weak. To become strong, they could only Cultivate the cultivation methods of Immortals and Buddhas, eventually becoming beings similar to Immortals and Buddhas.
The Human Clan possesses an Innate Dao body, and theoretically, they can indeed Cultivate the methods of Immortals and Buddhas and achieve the path of Immortals and Buddhas.
Even if there were extraordinary talents who created Human Clan methods, they were still based on the methods of Immortals and Buddhas, with some innovations.
No one had ever considered whether the methods of Immortals and Buddhas were suitable for the Human Clan, nor had anyone ever started from the Human Clan itself to create Human Clan cultivation methods.
Even the former Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors were like this; for example, the teacher of Human Emperor Xuanyuan was Guang Chengzi, the head of the Chan Cult Twelve Golden Immortals.
This is not something to be sad about, because since ancient times, Immortals and Buddhas have been synonymous with power.
For the Human Clan to become strong, imitating Immortals and Buddhas, or even becoming Immortals and Buddhas, was a path of last resort.
But now it was different; he wanted to establish the Dao with his own body, establishing not only his own Dao, but also the Dao of Great Shang, and even the Dao of the Human Clan.
At this moment, King Zhou's eyes were deep. From him as the Origin, chains of order intertwined, rules spread, merging into the void, Dao traces faintly appearing, resonating with the mountains and rivers.
He established the Dao at this moment, without needing to seek the Dao from Immortals and Buddhas. Where he stood, there were Dao traces, and wherever his eyes saw, there was order.
Within heaven and earth, there were already scriptures turning pages, and true meanings flowing. This was the creation inherently contained within heaven and earth.
All these scriptures, true meanings, and experiences were hung in the world, in every blade of grass, every tree, in the mountains, rivers, stars, and all things!
Where did the Dao come from originally? Who created the original cultivation methods?
Even Immortals and Buddhas were not born with knowledge; they too explored little by little before creating cultivation methods.
By observing mountains and rivers, touching grass and trees, entering the vast sea, gazing at the stars, and touching all things, cultivation methods gradually emerged, and the initial Dao appeared.
At this moment, he stood within Great Shang, surrounded by light, with runes intertwined. With him as the center, Dao traces that he understood were outlined.
The Great Dao is formless, illusory, and ethereal, originally nothingness. Living beings explored it little by little, and thus they became the first Immortals and Buddhas.
King Zhou at this moment was like the original Immortals and Buddhas, taking from the mountains and rivers, from the grass and trees, and from all things!
Starting from the myriad things of heaven and earth, he inscribed extraordinary runes, blending the vigorous qi of grass and trees, taking the majestic momentum of mountains and seas, and borrowing the brilliant power of the starry river.
And the entire Great Shang had already transformed into his Domain. He could easily resonate with all things, being omnipresent.
This was the profound mystery of the Domain path: using the Domain to realize one's own transformation, turning all things to one's own use.
Where is the great power? In famous mountains and great rivers, in great rivers, it is in all things within Great Shang.
This was his Dao, to find, explore, and open up from all things within Great Shang.
He looked at the Five Sacred Mountains within Great Shang. The five great mountains were towering and majestic, possessing a grand and imposing aura.
In an instant, these magnificent Five Sacred Mountains condensed into a piece of rune in his eyes—that was the power of mountains and rivers.
Then, he looked at the Four Great Rivers within Great Shang. The four rivers flowed ceaselessly, surging forward.
Again, in an instant, these turbulent Four Great Rivers condensed into a piece of rune in his eyes—that was the power of rivers.
He surveyed the territory of Great Shang, observing the mountains, rivers, and lakes, as if flipping through countless scrolls of mountains and rivers. Some runes rapidly flowed through his eyes.
He resonated with all things, taking mountains and rivers as books, observing the natural textures, reciting the essence of power within the mountain ranges, all transforming into Domain runes.
Within all things in heaven and earth, there exists the Great Dao. To be precise, the Great Dao is formless, and all things are manifestations of the Great Dao.
Starting from the primordial, extracting what is needed from all things, with Great Shang as his Domain, he directly explored from the Origin.
This was his own path, and also the path of the Human Clan. A speck of dust, a blade of grass, mountains and all things, all were scriptures, awaiting recitation.
What he saw in his eyes were condensed runes, shimmering textures, ultimately containing some brilliant radiance.
He refined, extracted, and deduced dense runes, solidifying them into his own method and transforming them into his own Dao.
He was forging his own path, establishing the Dao with his own body. Around him, crystal-clear symbols were arranged like suspended stars, embodying order.
As he slowly comprehended, countless runes emerged throughout Great Shang, reflecting in his eyes.
In the next instant, various dazzling runes bloomed, and the creation of all things converged upon him alone.
At this moment, he established himself as the Dao, bathed in radiant light, breaking through forcefully and officially stepping into the Immortal King Realm.
As King Zhou broke through, the entire Great Shang trembled, and the Human Clan Luck boiled like fire, spanning a hundred thousand li.
Such an anomaly naturally attracted the attention of countless people. Five years later, the Gods and Buddhas in the Sky once again cast their gaze upon Great Shang.
"What happened? Why is the Human Clan Luck boiling? Could it be another qualitative leap?"
"Impossible! It's only been a few short years since the Human Clan Conferring Gods. How could there be another transformation so soon?"
"What exactly happened? Why do I have a sense of unease, as if a great catastrophe is about to descend?"
...
Feeling the vast Human Clan Luck, countless Immortals and Buddhas were shocked. They had witnessed such a familiar scene five years ago.
Five years ago, during the Human Clan Conferring Gods, King Zhou's battle with the Jade Emperor Haotian had left them with a shock that had not yet dissipated.
Five years later, the Human Clan Luck boiled again, spanning a hundred thousand li, seemingly even vaster than five years ago.
But how could this be possible?
Who didn't know that the Human Clan Luck was flourishing, shining like a great sun? Otherwise, King Zhou would not have been able to fight the Jade Emperor Haotian to a draw.
But precisely because the Human Clan Luck was so flourishing, how could it become even stronger in just five short years?
This is like a full bucket of water; if you add more water, it will naturally overflow. But if it's the water of the East Sea, what difference would adding a bucket of water make?
The current Human Clan Luck was like the water of the East Sea; even if it increased, the change should not be significant.
Therefore, when they saw the Human Clan Luck boiling like fire, they were so shocked.
What exactly happened to make the Human Clan Luck boil, and moreover, show a tendency to reach another Peak?
Even the lofty Saints had to turn their gaze back to Great Shang at this moment.
Saints oversee eons, and their saintly thoughts roam the primordial chaos. How difficult it was to capture their attention.
Not to mention, in just five short years, Saints had focused on Great Shang twice in a row.
"The qi Luck has transformed. What has King Zhou done again to cause such a change in the Human Clan Luck?" Saint Celestial Worthy of the Primordial Beginning thought to himself.
Compared to other bewildered beings, Saints could clearly feel the change in the Human Clan Luck.
The Human Clan Luck boiling like fire indicated a qualitative change in the Human Clan Luck, which would manifest itself spontaneously, spanning a hundred thousand li.
In other words, after the Human Clan Conferring Gods, another earth-shattering event had occurred to cause such a change in the Human Clan Luck.
Originally, the flourishing Human Clan Luck had already made the Saints take notice. Now that the Human Clan Luck was even stronger, it naturally made them even more wary.
More importantly, it had only been five short years. If this continued, what level could the Human Clan Luck reach?
"With such Human Clan Luck, if I could use it, the great prosperity of my Western Religion would be just around the corner!" Saint Zhunti Daoist said.
Looking at the Human Clan Luck, vast for a hundred thousand li and boiling like fire, his eyes were filled with greed.
"But such Human Clan Luck also makes one wary!" Saint Jieyin Daoist said in a deep voice.
Such Human Clan Luck would make anyone envious. If they could use it, that would naturally be best.
However, the current Human Emperor was King Zhou. With King Zhou's domineering nature, plotting for the Human Clan Luck would be as difficult as ascending to heaven.
As a result, the more prosperous the Human Clan Luck became, the more wary they became, even feeling a sense of crisis.
"How interesting. It seems I should personally go and meet that King Zhou!" Saint Tongtian Cult Master muttered to himself.
He was becoming more and more interested in that King Zhou. What kind of person could cause such drastic changes in the Human Clan Luck in such a short time?
With the Human Clan Luck bestowed upon him, he could no longer treat King Zhou as a mere Mortal, but as an equal.
He was naturally uninhibited and, when inspired, would not consider too many things; he would simply do what he wanted.
"Could it be that you, who have surpassed the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, are not the last Human Emperor, but the lord of the Human Clan's Peak prosperity?" Saint Nüwa thought to herself.
As the Human Clan's Saint Mother, she was more sensitive to the changes in the Human Clan Luck than other Saints.
Precisely because of this, she could clearly feel that with the current prosperity of the Human Clan Luck, it had already surpassed the Human Clan during the time of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors.
And the change in the Human Clan Luck must be inextricably linked to King Zhou; it could even be said that it was entirely due to King Zhou's own efforts that the Human Clan Luck underwent such a change.
Moreover, besides the Human Clan Luck becoming even more prosperous, she also felt some other things, which were even more crucial than the increase in Human Clan Luck.
How could such a King Zhou, such a Human Emperor, be the last Human Emperor of the Human Clan, and how could he allow the Human Clan to decline from its Peak?
"After waiting for so long, my great gift is ready. I'll send it to King Zhou; I'm sure he'll be very pleased!" Nüwa chuckled lightly.
Her bell-like laughter echoed throughout the vast Wa Huang Palace, yet no one was destined to know the thoughts of this Saint.
At the same time, in the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall, King Zhou had already established the Dao with his own body and successfully entered the Immortal King Realm.
The reason for breaking through in the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall was, on one hand, because of the qi luck torch, which would make his Breakthrough more stable.
On the other hand, within the Human Emperor's Spirit Hall, he could also block the gazes from all sides, preventing all his secrets from being exposed.
