Chapter 11
Whoosh!
Before Kam could even think, Luffy strode right up to him with his usual overly-familiar grin and happily slapped him on the shoulder.
"Sorry, sorry!"
Luffy laughed cheerfully: "I was rushing so fast I didn't notice you. You're not hurt, right?"
"Don't—cough!"
With every slap on the shoulder, Kam sprayed several mouthfuls of blood, his injuries worsening!
"You—stop—"
Kam tried to stop him, but Luffy's hand just wouldn't quit.
Slap slap slap!
Spurt spurt spurt!
Luffy kept patting, Kam kept coughing blood, Kam coughed blood, Luffy patted again.
Finally seizing a chance, Kam shoved Luffy away and roared furiously: "You bastard!!"
"Huh? You trying to scam me now?"
Seeing Kam's demonic glare, Luffy immediately got annoyed.
I was walking in the middle of the road, got bumped into, and now it's my fault?
Luffy huffed, raising a fist the size of a sandbag: "Just so you know, that was my special travel technique—it had zero killing power! If you're trying to extort food from me, I don't mind actually sending you flying."
At this point—
Luffy had already realized the person he inexplicably hated and wanted to punch was this guy right here. But in his memory, he didn't know this person at all.
So for now he was just threatening, not actually swinging yet.
"King Luffy!!"
Seeing Luffy's cocky attitude, Kam was furious beyond words.
He thought: I'm almost beaten to death, and he still says it had no killing power!?
At the same time, Kam was bewildered—why hadn't the Marines moved yet? At most Kizaru might be a "second uncle," but Hina and Gion shouldn't have issues.
"Hiss… They're not actually 'third uncle' and 'third aunt,' are they?!"
A very bad feeling suddenly hit Kam. It was actually possible.
"No way!!"
Right now, the Marine officers' eyes were bulging like huskies—they were frozen in place!
Kam was still alive. After taking such a heavy blow, he was still alive! That attack from Luffy just now could easily kill an ordinary Vice Admiral!
"Looks like this old man underestimated the boss." Kizaru muttered under his breath.
"Kam Saint-sama's strength is probably enough to survive even against Warlord-level powerhouses." Hina said in admiration.
"Is this the descendant of the gods?" Gion and Tsuru exclaimed in shock.
Soon the dust settled, and ordinary Marines could finally see clearly what had happened.
"Ah!!"
One ordinary Marine stepped forward and shouted in shock: "Kurukured Kam Saint-sama has been hit!!"
"What?!"
The other ordinary Marines still didn't believe it. They stepped closer, eyes wider than the last.
"Straw Hat brat, you've got some guts!"
"Straw Hat brat, stop! Stop right now!"
"Let go of Kam Saint-sama!"
"Straw Hat brat, you dared to hit a Celestial Dragon! You're finished!"
"Kill! Kill!!"
Their eyesight was poor—they couldn't see anything special. They just raised their swords and spears and charged at Luffy together.
"Marines?!"
Only now did Luffy's brain fully connect. He noticed the Marines around him: "Weird? Why are there Marines here?"
"Rubber Rubber—Whip!"
Without time to think, Luffy sent several rubber whips to teach the Marines a lesson.
"Heal!!"
While Luffy was busy dealing with the Marines, Kam finally had a moment to focus. He immediately activated 30% of the Healing Fruit power!
Whoosh~ whoosh~~
Two gentle beams of white light enveloped Kam's body. His injuries visibly recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Celestial Dragon?!"
Hearing the roaring Marines, Luffy's brain finally clicked again: "So he's a Celestial Dragon! He's one of those bastards trying to buy Camie!"
"No wonder I had the urge to beat him up!"
"No wonder I felt someone nearby I hated!"
Thinking this, the guilt in Luffy's heart vanished instantly!
"So you're a Celestial Dragon! I'm gonna send you flying!"
Luffy roared, then activated Gear Second.
"Rubber Rubber—!"
"Kizaru, Hina, Gion—kill the Straw Hat kid now!"
Seeing the situation, Kam immediately called for backup. Only an idiot would solo him.
"Straw Hat brat!!"
Hearing Kam's order, Kizaru, Hina, and Gion flashed forward instantly: "You dared to hit a Celestial Dragon—even if your grandpa is Garp, you're done for!"
Clang clang clang!!
The three attacked together. Metal clashing sounds rang out nonstop.
"Owww owww owww!!"
Luffy clutched his head and rolled on the ground, letting out pig-slaughtering screams.
"Hina, Gion—come protect me."
Kam had an idea: let Kizaru fight King Luffy alone. This way he could test whether Kizaru really was Luffy's "second uncle"!
"Understood!"
Hina and Gion nodded and withdrew from the battlefield!
In their minds, even though Luffy had become much stronger, he still couldn't possibly be a match for Admiral Kizaru.
Boom boom boom!!
Explosions rocked the battlefield nonstop.
"Pain! It hurts so much!"
Luffy clutched his head and rolled, letting out wave after wave of pig-like screams.
"Go Admiral Kizaru!"
The Marines clapped and cheered, thinking Kizaru would capture the Straw Hat kid soon.
"…"
But the more Kam watched, the darker his expression became.
Even though Luffy was screaming miserably… he still wasn't dead!
Could Kizaru really be shady?
Boom boom boom!!
Owww owww owww!!
"Cough cough…"

After several exchanges, Luffy still hadn't died.
Luffy coughed once, did more sit-ups, and climbed back up: "I'm gonna send you flying!!"
At this moment—
Luffy had a strange feeling: right now, even facing an Admiral, he might not lose!
And inexplicably, a powerful obsession had appeared in his heart: no matter what, he had to beat up this Celestial Dragon.
He felt a flash of confusion about this obsession.
"Right—he's one of the guys trying to buy Camie!"
"So I absolutely have to send him flying!"
Thinking this, Luffy's confusion vanished. He swung both fists.
"Rubber Rubber—Machine Gun!"
Luffy shouted, countless fist shadows accompanied by a strange overwhelming power, whistling toward Kizaru.
"Ora ora!"
Kizaru's face still wore that sleazy smile, but now mixed with a hint of bitterness: "Straw Hat kid, if you don't have the strength, why come here to die?"
Kizaru spread his hands. Countless light particles slowly gathered in front of him.
Boom boom boom!!
Every light particle carried terrifying power!
"Ahhhh, acting! He's totally acting!"
Seeing this scene, Kam was completely enraged.
He cursed Kizaru as an actor!
With Kizaru's strength and speed, he should have one-shot Luffy by now—yet he was still going "ora ora~" here.
This old bastard was definitely acting!
"Hmm?"
Hina noticed Kam's unnatural expression and asked: "Kam Saint-sama, are you worried Admiral Kizaru can't beat the Straw Hat kid?"
Kam studied Hina curiously and answered honestly: "To be frank, Vice Admiral Hina—I feel like Kizaru is putting on a show!"
Hina was intrigued: "Oh? What do you mean?"
