One Year Earlier
A dog walked past Chen Kai's grave. Suddenly, Chen Kai crawled out from inside. The dog began barking at him. Chen Kai looked at his own body—it had turned green, was covered in muscles, and his height had grown to two meters.
Chen Kai was overwhelmed by hunger. He looked at the barking dog beside him, then lunged forward and bit it. After biting it several times, he slowly stood up. Chen Kai watched as the dog he had just bitten began to mutate, quickly turning into a zombie dog.
Chen Kai realized that he could control it. Whatever he wanted it to do, it would do.
A sinister smile appeared on Chen Kai's face.

Chapter Five: Extreme Ups and Downs
Kaize stared in disbelief at Chen Kai standing beneath the tree and said, "Chen Kai… you're not…?"
The tall and powerful Chen Kai looked at him and said, "What? You thought I was dead?"
Yeey pulled everyone back and shouted, "Run! Now!"
Everyone turned around and fled. Chen Kai merely smiled as he watched them escape in panic, making no move to stop them.
In the hospital, Fumei and Lijuan sat together. A doctor walked out of the operating room. Fumei immediately rushed forward and asked, "How is he?"
The doctor lowered his head and said, "The injuries were too severe. We couldn't save him. My condolences."
After hearing this, Fumei collapsed and fainted. Lijuan supported her while helplessly looking around.
Inside the car, Yeey took a long time to recover. Kaize looked at him in fear. Liu Ly asked, "Wasn't he already dead?"
While driving, Grandpa Chun said, "I suspect he's the one who activated everything."
Oye looked at them and asked, "You know that main figure?"
Liu Ly looked at Yeey and Kaize. Kaize nodded, and Liu Ly began explaining the whole situation to Oye.
Soon, they arrived outside the shop. Oye widened his eyes and said, "Wow, I didn't expect it. Kaize actually killed for love. It's kind of touching. That Chen Kai deserved to die."
They got out of the car and walked into the shop. As soon as Grandpa Chun stepped inside, he saw Jianhuo eating the food Oye had given to Grandpa Chun.
Grandpa Chun asked suspiciously, "What are you doing here?"
Jianhuo smiled and said, "Nothing. I'll leave after I finish eating."
At that moment, Grandpa Chun's phone rang. He glanced at it—it was Lijuan. Grandpa Chun answered the call. After hearing what Lijuan said, his expression turned serious as he looked at Jianhuo. Jianhuo seemed to sense something from Grandpa Chun's gaze.
Grandpa Chun hung up the phone and tightened his grip on his cane. Just then, Jianhuo tried to run. Grandpa Chun raised his cane, aimed, and fired, hitting Jianhuo in the shoulder. Jianhuo fell to the ground. Grandpa Chun grabbed a rope nearby and went forward to tie him up.
Yeey, Kaize, Liu Ly, and Oye were all stunned by what they had just seen. Grandpa Chun pressed the alarm button in the shop and said to them, "Get in the car. Now."
Yeey, Kaize, and Liu Ly got in. Oye followed behind and asked, "Where are we going?"
On the way, Oye asked, "Why don't you give each of us one of those powerful weapons?"
Grandpa Chun ignored him.
Soon, they arrived at the hospital entrance. Yeey, Kaize, and Liu Ly rushed inside, with Grandpa Chun and Oye close behind.
At the same time, police officers arrived at Grandpa Chun's shop with guns drawn. They stormed inside, only to find no one there—just a rope that had been untied.
Yeey, Kaize, and Liu Ly entered the hospital room. Yeey ran to Fumei, who was lying on the bed.
He grabbed Fumei's hand and then looked at Lijuan beside her, asking, "What happened?"
Lijuan lowered her head and said nothing. Fumei tightly held Yeey's hand and said, "Lee Yan, he…"
Before she could finish, Fumei burst into tears. Liu Ly staggered back in disbelief. Lijuan looked at them and said, "Come with me."
Not long after, they arrived outside the morgue. Liu Ly leaned against the wall and said, "Impossible."
Oye supported her. Yeey and Kaize walked in first, then Oye helped Liu Ly inside. Yeey slowly lifted the white sheet. When Liu Ly saw it, she completely broke down and cried. Oye hugged her tightly in pain. Kaize burst into tears and hugged Yeey, and Yeey also began to cry.
Lijuan stood silently outside the door.
